Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with my HDFC Bank savings account (Account No.: [protected], IFSC: HDFC0003442) maintained at your Shahpur, Haryana branch.
On 28th December 2024, my account was debited with a negative balance of ₹-572, marked as "Hold due to unrecovered service charges." As per RBI guidelines, no account should reflect a negative balance. I request your immediate assistance in resolving this matter.
I kindly request the following:
Reverse the negative balance of ₹-572 and restore the account to a zero balance status.
Ensure that no such charges are levied in the future unless sufficient funds are available in the account.
Notify me about the steps taken to resolve this issue.
Until now, I have conducted all my transactions in cash. However, starting from February 2025, I plan to carry out all transactions through my bank account for better transparency and convenience. I also assure you that I can maintain a minimum balance of ₹10, 000 per month to meet the bank's requirements and avoid such discrepancies in the future.
