I just chaeked my balance. 57 rupees was withrawn as "depository charges 15th August" on 11th september 2015. I have a demat account with HDFC but the only charges for the demat account is the annual maintainance charges, which was waived off for the first year of opening. Why then should I be charged this amount?

I have a demat account with HDFC but the only charges for the demat account is the annual maintainance charges, which was waived off for the first year of opening. Why then should I be charged this amount?
