I'm trying to add beneficiary online netbanking which needs ifsc code to search and CANNOT enter manually. So while searching the ifsc code HDFC0000015 Hdfc Bank Ltd Mulund west branch, NOTHING id populated. IT'S SO EMBARASSING IS TODAY'S ONLINE WORLD BANK LIKE HDFC IS OF NO ### USE TO CUSTOMERS !!!

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

We understand that you are trying to add a beneficiary who hold an HDFC Bank Account. When adding a HDFC Bank Account beneficiary, you need to choose the option transfer within Bank and then proceed. This option will not ask you for IFSC Code and the beneficiary will be added basis account number itself as the beneficiary is our customer. To transfer funds within HDFC Bank accounts, please follow the below steps: Click on "Fund Transfer" tab Select "Transfer within the bank" Select Your Account number, the Beneficiary Account number, the amount to be transferred and click on “Continue” to confirm the funds transfer. The funds are transferred to the specified beneficiary/beneficiaries online.
