[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Unable to open the credit card attachment sent to my mail id

As per your guidelines an attachment sent to me regarding my credit card statement should open by the first four letters of my name on the credit card followed by ddmm of my date of birth. Or first four letters of my name followed by last four digits of my credit card.
I have tried the following 4 combinations to open the attachment but the attachment did not open.
1) ehhn1406
2) ehar1406
3) ehhn7153
4) ehar7153
I have also lodged a complaint on 14-07-17, complaint no.[protected].

Please tell me how to open the attachment.

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,
we request you to follow the given procedure to access your E- Statement.
1. Click on the attachment that you would have received along with the e-mail statement.
2. You will be prompted for your password.
3. The password is of 8 characters and is a combination of the first 4 characters of your name as it appears on your Card statement (in CAPITAL LETTERS) and the last 4 digits of your 16-digit Credit Card number. If your card has been upgraded/ reissued recently, please use the last 4 digits of your new card number or the password is of 8 characters and is a combination of the first 4 characters of your name as it appears on your Card statement (in CAPITAL LETTERS) and the the first 4 digits of your Date of Birth in DDMM format.
We wish to clarify that the e-statement password contains the first 4 characters of your name as it appears on your Card statement and not as per the name embossed on the card.
