HDFC Fastag — Hdfc fastag account freeze

When I tried to recharge my wallet suddenly I get a message saying its frozen.
MY HDFC FAST TAG WALLET ID [protected] unable to recharge.

From past 10days I am following up with the HDFC Fastag customer care, initially they mentioned it will be done in 2 days.
When again called they mentioned eKYC lite has expired that is where wallet is frozen. Now they mentioned HDFC Bank has to send email. Till now there was no SMS/Mail or communication saying fasttag eKYC is expiring or whatever from their department.
I spoke to my RM and ensured that there is an email sent last week itself to HDFC Fastag.
After this also wallet still shows frozen & yesterday I insisted them to take the complaint. The customer care representative confirmed it will be dont by COB 3/8.
On 3/9 also its not done and today they are giving a time within this week very open ended and created one more below complaint.

I would suggest the HDFCFASTAG need to shutdown the operation if there is not proper process. First step before causing inconvenience and trouble to customer they should notify in advance that eKYC lite is expiring and what needs to be done.

Yes do not take hdfc fastag... I faced the same problem. They freezed my wallet for kyc which was never intimated to me.. Today while driving through toll road tried to recharge and to my shock it was freezed. Had to pay cash..
I was using HDFC Fastag and my wallet freezeed in feb 2021 . I sent several emails and contacted customer care also they assuring me that with in one week it will happen, but it didn't happened since last 3 months .
they told me to send with KYC details to one ID initially and after a month they asked me to send it to different email still they unable to resolve and stating that it is taken from CSC, Now I total fed up and want to close this and going for new fastag with other provider.
I may not be knowing how difficult it is to close this wallet.

I recommend not to go for HDFC fastag, their customer care is very negligent and irresponsible.

Today we tried it to recharge.i have not received any intimation for KYC.
