[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — fraudulent offers don't go for it - hdfc sanchay policy, add on medical policy and 30% premium

During the second week of nov'18 i received a call from garima (Mobile number [protected]) saying that there is a new medical policy from hdfc life in which i will get the reimbursement for opd medical bills above rs 1000 and total amount being rs 300, 000. She shared some of the bills given to her by different policy holders. She mentioned that medical policy is going to be for five years and since there is year end offer going on so i if i purchase another policy hdfc sanchay then medical policy will come for free. So total benefits which she mentioned are
Medical policy (Rs 400, 000 limit for a year) for five years for four family members for which adhaar card details of all family members are provided, additional one lakh cover add if i got this policy enrollod withing first week of dec'18
30% discount / cash back which will come after three months of policy issue
All the above points were confirmed by manish (Mobile number [protected]) who introduced himself as manager in hdfc life cp barakhamba branch who got all my relevant document collected.

Once i got the policy registered on 5th dec 2018 after that i got full body checkup during third week of dec'18 and submitted the bills worth rs 2000 to her. Since then i have been continuously chasing them they said that reimbursement will happen in 15-30 days.

The agents garima and manish have asked me not to talk about both the policies and premium over the confirmation call as it is not allowed to sell the add on policy along with premium however since this is year end offer so that's why these are being given however separate confirmation calls will come. Also they told me that hdfc life associates which call for confirmation aren't aware about these offers because these calls come from different either mumbai or chennai and are asked to get confirmation from policy holder for single policy and these additional offers will get cancelled if they came to know about these. However they said that i will receive three seperate calls for each of the additional benefit i was fine that i got three calls from hdfc life.

For the medical policy, 30% premium and sanchay policy i received a three separate call confirmation call from hdfc life respectively one for medical, another for sanchay and third for premium. Since these calls were coming directly from hdfc life and they were having all the details so i find everything correct.

I said that i cant take this policy as you are asking me not to speak about total benefits, for this they told me that i will receive three calls which i received
One for medical which i received and the person confirmed all the family members details which i provided to them
Second call for sanchay in which they reconfirmed the policy terms
Third for 30% premium confirmation that will come in my through neft on 5th mar-19 which is after three months of policy

However to my astonishment even after confirmation calls till date i have received neither of the below
Medical policy or medical card
30% premium which was due after three months from policy issue
Medical expense of rs 2000 which i spend as they told me that i will get reimbursement

After so many calls in the month of jan'19 for medical policy there is no policy which i received. I submitted the cancellation request to manish on 22 jan'18 that i don't want to continue with the policy as neither have received any hard copy of policy or medical reimbursement. He agreed and during first week of feb'19 i got another call from hdfc wherein they said that there will be cancellation charges of rs 1700 and entire amount will be refunded in 45 days of time. Since then i have been continuously chasing for the amount but i didn't receive any amount yet.

I got another call from hdfc life for delivering hard copy of the document however i asked them not to deliver as i have submitted the request for cancellation however to my surprise they delivered it to dhobi near my house and you can confirm this by seeing the name and phone number of ram kumar dhobi on the delivery receipt. Which means by any means you will deliver the policy to client even if he is saying no.

Since apr'19 i have contacted many hdfc life agents for this and visited the branch but getting no resolution.

Kindly close this policy and refund my amount rs 40000 for policy and rs 2000 for medical expense for which bills are already submitted else i will approach the consumer court or file a police complaint regarding the fraud done by hdfc life if the amount is not refunded.

Also please comeback with saying that you didn't find any proper as you are already aware about these frauds and will file complaint against hdfc life in consumer court and will file a police complaint as well.
