Dear ICFAI SSD,

As i have informed you already, I cant continue with the
program due to my health problem and not got proper support from your
side for the course studies.Recently i heard that High court of
madras(Justices S J Mukhopadhaya and V Dhanapalan dated 12th june
2009) had banned you from running institutions of this kind in the
state of Tamil Nadu and you are hereby restrained from running such
institutions .These are the main reasons for my withdrawl.

Actually today i have surveyed all the
complaints against universities over here so finally i found that you
are the one of the leading Grievances holder & most of complaints
against your unfair fee strucutre policies. why are the most of
complaints against your university, that means many students are
suffering from your unfair practices & still if there is such kind of
drawbacks in your policies then why don't u amend it so that students
can get relief. No doubt you are playing safe but this is not the
matter of playing with students. you are here for students welfare not
for personal monetary desires. & in which book of law is written that
student can't withdraw from their studies but still your university
insist not for withdraw from program & in which book of law is written
that the study which he is not studying anymore, he has to pay. &
please sir, now don't say me to mail to ssd & waiting for the
necessary action cause now this is not the matter of you & me only,
thousands of students are waiting for your answer on this mail.

The attached notification by UGC dated April 22, 2007, is one of the
best office orders as far as student rights are concerned. It
clearly mandates that no Govt. approved institution can retain fees,
as well as the original certificates. Even withdrawals after the
start of the course must be pro rata.


So consider my request and refund. If you still
don't want to refund , I will file a case against you in the court.
Also will publish this issue in media like all TV channels and leading
news papers.I am expecting the refund as early as possible.

ICFAI is the worst University. They charges huge amount for everything.
Rs 1000 for exams, Rs 100 per Question Paper, Rs 500 for Answer Paper review or re-check.
I paid Annual Fees of Rs 1000. After that they stopped collecting Annual Fees. As I have paid, shall I not expect the amount refunded to me. It seems like they wanted to earn some extra penny, so they collected that amount.I personally will take this step to let no one enroll in ICFAI for so called MBA.

The way they check Question Papers is PAINFUL.
They don't understand that it becomes a painful affair to pay so much to study MBA.
When I first took admission, I was not told about all those hidden charges. They are only concentrating in doing business & earning maximum profit. They are not at all interested in students's interests. They hardly look into our concerns. It is really getting hard to pay so much. We are not getting any help from this Dirty University.
Let us all unite together and shut the doors of ICFAI close and demand our money back.
I request everybody to help us from becoming bankrupt.
I also request Government of India to help us. We are not from a super rich family. We can't afford so much. PLEASE Help us.

ICFAI University at its worst again.
I wrote the best ever in the recently concluded Group B & C Examinations. Unfortunately for me, I FAILED.
ICFAI is a bloody CHEAT. They are running for money. They are run by some hooligans.

I WANT MY ENTIRE COURSE FEES BACK NOW....... including all exam fees.....
Shame on the entire unit of ICFAI..........

. I have joined ICFAI in October 2007, after several time fail & after loot of hard work i have reached to E & F group but after attempting different time. They are charging 300/- per group papers. how they check the copy...experienced teacher or they cut number.. different time i failed with the difference of 1 & 2 no. AT last i have decided to put a complaint against ICFAI for higher fee & Passing percentage. sir i am just frustrated from my life because of ICFAI.....IT DESTROYED MY WHOLE CAREER..
i am unable to think what to do.ICFAI university is a totally hopeless university,

ICFAI university is a totally hopeless university, staff of ICFAI are not worth their jobs. I have joined ICFAI in April 2008, after several time fail & after loot of hard work i have reached to I & J group. After 3 to 4 attempt, i have completed my one group. few groups, i have competed in first attempt. They are charging 1000/- per group papers & more than 70,000/- course fee.Inshort more than 1 lack i have paid to ICFAI but not found a MBA degree yet. AT last i have decided to put a complaint against ICFAI for higher fee & Passing percentage. They have 55% passing criteria, They fail you for 4-5 marks, charge for everything they do. Paper checking style is done by non-professionals, they just want to pass the % of students they can place. Day by Day they are degrading their standards. They do no understand the meaning to distance learning programs and would not suggest any working professional to join and waste his/her time. this time i have filled only one group & tell u final result.

please take action against ICFAI university & close these types o[censored]niversity in INDIA.

I REQUEST TO ALL MY STUDENT IF YOU THIMKING ABOUT ICFAI UNIVERSITY , RIGHT NOW FORGPT ABOUT IT AND SEARCH ANOTHER BEST OPTION BUT DO NOT TAKE ADMISSION HERE.

Please dont join ICFAI for MBA, specially the distance/executive one. They will never let u pass all the exam and u keep on writing it for ur whole life. they are just making money out of exam fees. the pass mark is 60%, which is very difficult to get and i[censored] fail u will surprise to see that u get 40, 41, 39, 40 (suppose u appear in 4 papers) and never get any other variation which means they just make u fool by arbitrary marks.

My advise is go for a full time MBA only after a detail study of colleges.

My self, had done my MBA from ICFAI NAtional College Dehradun, i studied from kochi, kerala. Now when i tried to make the same certificate to get the Ministry of HRD attestation, i found out more difficulties.
Could any one help me out on the same matter.

I am an MBA alumni of ICFAI University under Distance MBA. Even though I have cleared the exams, I would suggest all aspirants of Distance MBA from ICFAI University not to join anyway. Reasons are as follows

1. Below standards study materials as well services.
2. Degree is not valid
3. They intentionally fail students to earn huge money through online examination registration.
4. You can find most of the complaints in consumercomplaints.in are of ICFAI University compare to other university.

I have joint the ICFAI university through their kannur branch offered the condintion that i can able to attend the exam in Abu Dhabi on 2007, and I paid Rs5000 cash cheque and 12 PDC formy the instalement according to their instruction.I return back to Abudhabi and came to know that there is no centre for exam in Abu Dhabi for ICFAI and I was unable to go far during that time due to my working condition. and | decided to discontinue to course due this type cheeating and lost my confidence about the university I have sent detialed email to them with the reason of dincontinue and I ask them to give back the PDC cheques and I advise my bank not honor the cheques due to the reason, Now university/finace company not retrun the cheque sofar and they are trying to taking a legal action against me. I know that they are so many students came to the same trap and they are aslo facing the similar problem.Please help us to get the problem solved soon.

I have done regular MBA from ICFAI NATIONAL COLLEGE, MEERUT in 07-09 batch.
i choose 48 PDC FEE Structure to pay the fees, i have paid more than 70% fee in between i heard about that this is fake university, so i stop the all rest PDC, So because of this they didnt issued my forth sem marksheet & digree also. now after waste my money & time i am very confused that what should i do. at the time of interview interviewer say that this is not a recognised university so you cant sit our recruitment process.

This is to let you inform that I am an ex-student of ICFAI Hyderabad, I have received a scholarship of Rs 63,500 for my fourth semester 2010 in ICFAI, but the Institute has not yet delivered the amount. It has already been more than six months. They have being enjoying the interest on the amount. No one in the institute is providing any information as well. I am in dire need of the amount as I belong from a very poor family and I need to pay my bank loan EMI as well. Please help

ICFAI Hyderabad last year 2010 his enrollment number is :09BSHYD0403, for the fourth semester. His GPA was 8 and the due scholarship amount is Rs 63,500.

i had given 10,000 /- as addmission fees at icfai national college, udaipur.
then i got admission in icfai national college jaipur. where again i had deposited 10,000?- as admission fees.
for rest of the fees i chose 48 PDC option. i have deposited money for 46 PDC till date, rest 2 PDC are pending. because icfai people told me that those 10,000/- rs i deposited at ICFAI , udaipur will be adjust in these last two PDC. every PDC cost 5326/- RS. so now if i calculate then only 652/- RS is pending from my side.
but icfai has closed all its national college branches , now i dont know where to contact and settele my account. icfai has present both of the remaining 2 PDC at my bank at those PDC got dishounerdbecocause of insufficient amount. plz look into the matter and contact me as soon as possible.

Dear Sir,

This complain is regarding Non Payment of Distance Education Fees for which my name has been logged in payment defaulter list.

In the year 2008 I took admission in MBA (Distance Education) from ICFAI University. I have paid the admission fees and rest were suppose to be paid in installment. I have also paid some of the installments but due to some family & financial problem I couldnt continue my education. Now after 4 years I have received a mail stating that my name has been logged in payment defaulter list.

Now I want to confirm why should I have to pay the balance when I have not taken any service later. An education cant be forced for the sake of money. Kindly help me out.

My name is Jyoti Anand. I worked for ICFAI Flexible learning for 3 years and left the organisation in 2008. Since then i am trying to take out my PF refund but till date nothing had happened. Sent forms to the HO Hyderabad several times. but not able to take the out refund. and taken out status of the PF given in my receipt is given below:

I had checked the status with the PF office. I got this response with the individual account number.

AP/16939A/01732 - Your Claim is received on 25/02/2009 and is being processed. Kindly Try after 30 days from Submission.
AP/HY/41808/1712- Establishment code does not exit.
AP/16939/04741- Claim is rejected told to contact the employer.
AP/HY/56966/04739- Claim not received by the office.

Till date i had received money by 2 transaction.

Kindly let me you how to go about it and besides that i want to check what else PF Account numbers were there with ICFAI because i am not aware of all the Account numbers. Kindly solve this problem at the earliest.

I had joined icfai 2 years before in CFA course and they charged me RS 40000 through (DRAFT) . all are saying that course is very tough they are not passing students only charging exam fee .how can i get back my money because i want to leave the course

My name is Neelam and I am from Mumbai...I had taken admission in ICFAI university in distant learning deptt. in 2010 for MBA but after one month i had left this university due to some personal reason but till that time I have paid more than half of full course fees... still I didn't tell them to refund my amount but they have been continuously insisting me for submit the pending amount from the last 7 months....why shud i give the pending amount ??? even I have discontinued my study after 4 months from my admission, I didn't give any exam not even single exam.but still they are harassing me for payment and now they have sent me the legal document(samman) from lok adalt hyderabad and calling me there for settlement.At the time of admission they have taken post dated cheques from me against the full course fees so that I could pay fee through installments.& now they sue file against cheque bounce. but it's all wrong... if a person is not studying at all ,left the study why shud she has to give the further study amount... so please please guide me what should i do at this moment.

I have requested for the withdrawal of admission fee of Rs 80000 paid towards the registration fee for the MBA program 2011-13, through an e-mail to ICFAI Hyderabad admission office([protected]@ibsat.org) on 10th may 2011. In response i got an e-mail from ICFAI Hyderabad saying that my request for the refund of fee has been confirmed and the sum of Rs 80000 will be refunded after deducting the administrative charges of Rs 1000 by 30th june but to...

I was selected at IBS Mumbai & my Demand draft has been accepted on the 6th of June 2011 but due to some unavoidable condition, i needed to cancel my admission & for the same purpose, i had sent them an e-mail regarding the refund of the demand draft of Rs.80000/- on the 8th of June 2011. Also, i had sent a hard copy of the application which has also been delivered long back. The recipient was Mr. P. S. Reddy on the 10th of June 2011.
I had called several times in the Hyderabad office on which, at first, they assured me that it's in process but later on when i asked it in clear words that whether i am getting my demand draft of Rs.80000/- refunded or not, the executives expressly intimated me that i am getting my demand draft back by the 1st week of July.
But, when i called the office on the morning of 4th of July, they refused to give me my money back, which is completely unethical as it implies fraud & also stakes the name & fame of the IBS group. So its my sincere request to the law n judiciary of India to help students in getting back our parents hard earned money. Waitin for the reply.
