ICICI Bank — Amount debited to dormant account | |||
Hi, I registered a complaint to ICICI that amount from my account was debited to another ICICI account. Though ICICI had information that the account to which I was transferring the amount was inactive, they completed the transaction successfully. Now, neither the beneficiary is able to transfer the amount back to me nor ICICI has initiated transfer. Bank has freezed my money. Moreover, the customer care executive seems to be sarcastic. My Airtel no.is [protected] I got the following SMS from ICICI Bank:-
"Dear Customer, Your Ac XX8244 has become dormant due to no transactions in last 24 months. Pls visit nearest branch with Id proof to activate the account."
Incidently I have no such account with Icici Bank.
