Slap on cashless drive of govt. By icici bank. All concerned officials of icici bank, Dear sir/madam, I am going to share an incidence of fraud debit of rs 75228.58 by icici bank from my saving account on 02/11/2017 in 5 transactions within fraction of a minute. Despite zero liability protection against unauthorized purchases and protection against fraudulent debit on intimation to bank within 15 days of such fraud, the bank is still to retrieve my robbed money. (Notably i informed the customer care of bank within minutes of seeing the messages on my mobile and lodged customer dispute at my home branch same day in morning it self.) The branch manager of my home branch, main road ranchi. Is unaware of the features of debit cards sold by his bank with huge promises of protection against unauthorized transactions. My service request no is[protected] dated 02/11/2017 and police complain no is 228884. I am following the banks customer dispute wing and customer care of the bank regarding my dispute form submitted with scanned copies of my debit card (Duly closed) since then. But the response is to wait as they are investigating. After this incidence and dull response from icici bank... 1. I have closed my debit cards with other banks also. 2. I have never booked any flight or train ticket since then. 3. I am now moving with cash instead of moving with atm card /debit card etc. 4. Afraid about my savings in banks. I am sharing this ugly experience of fraud by icici bank with all my friends and well wishers with the purpose to.. 1. Alert my friends as in different forums i am noticing large no. Of such frauds being facilitated by icici bank. 2. To know if any body has such experience with any positive response from bankers. 3. Is there any govt. Machinery looking after such frauds, apparently facilitated by icici bank. 4. If somebody can guide me how to proceed further to reach a logical end to this issue. Quick action from bank is solicited by... 1. Retrieval of my unauthorised debit amount rs. 75228.58 immediately. 2. Waving off the card reissue charge of rs. 499/_. Despite several requests i am still waiting for a hearing by some responsible officer of the bank.
