[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — fraud deduction by icici

Hi, more than a month ago i created a salary account. On 20th september 2019 i received two calls ([protected], [protected]) from two different banking officer's of icici bank regarding educating me about features and benefits of my account and for verifying my registered mobile number. On the first call the agent was explaining to me about safeguarding my debit card details and also how to block the card using their service called one assist. After explaining every thing the agent asked if i understood everything, for which i said yes. But i never said the agent that i am interested in the service and i am ready to opt for it.. They deducted rs.1899/- from my account without my knowledge on 23rd september 2019. When i checked my mini statement the transaction remark is shown as iin/i-debit/si oneast /[protected]/929.

They deducted it for a policy called as "one assist". But they never informed me or asked me regarding this. They just called me and said that they just need to educate me about the service and use of debit card in a safe way. The person who called me never told or asked me that he is asking all the details for any kind of policy. This is completely a fraudulent activity by icici which cannot be ignored. You cannot trick or manipulate customer's in order to purchase your service. I want my money back at any cost. I chose you for keeping my money safe not to steal it without my consent.

Revert the money back to my account at the earliest.

Thank you for your prompt response. I request you to refund my amount as soon as possible which you people have deducted without my permission, else this issue would be taken to higher level, social media and also I don't want to continue services with you people who steal money instead of keeping it as a trust.

I don't see any steps taken to resolve this issue. It's been more than 2 days since my amount got deducted from the account. Is this the way you treat your customers ? After taking your service you people don't offer any support or assistance to your customers. You just let them wander here and there in search of help. You people have no respect for the hard earned money of your customers. You will be back o[censored]s until we become your customers and disregard us afterwards. You people are so selfish.
