ICICI Bank — Fraud transaction happend from vin | |||
I have received call from [protected] and she said you are getting cashback on reward points of your card. She asked me to share card details and did transaction of 3000 rs from my account. Transaction details : 1 11/07/2016 vin/www. Oxigenw/[protected]/0 dr. 3, 000.00 Sr raised with bank : sr[protected] I have immediately call icici customer care when within 30 minutes. Customer care executive said bank come to know this is fraud transaction and your card is blocked. I have checked on consumer complaints site this has been happening since december. Bank come to know after money got debited why bank did not understand before transaction. If complaints have registered for this site in december then why bank has not yet taken serious action for transactions from this site. I would be closing my account from icici bank immediately to avoid further such transactions if bank will not take any action Was this information helpful? | |||

I have already sent email to [protected]@icicibank.com with all details. customer care executive said there is only 1 or 2 % chances you will get your money back.
My concern is online transactions should not happen so quickly. i have immediately called in customer services when i get alert message for debit. if i will not be able to stop that transaction when i receive alert email or sms then what is the use of providing alerts.
I accept i have shared details is my mistake. she called me when i was busy so in hurry i was sharing my details.she asked me to share details o[censored]nion bank as well but for Union bank she wanted ATM pin when she asked me for ATM pin then i came to know she is fraud so my concern is why this was possible with ICICI and why not with Union. ICICI bank should provide security which is provided by Union or like other banks.
ICICI bank should have stopped this transaction when i called. i should get refund of my money.
