ICICI Bank — imps - wrong account money transfer | |||
Hello, On 25th july, i transferred 5000 rs to a wrong icici account from my hdfc payzapp account. It was supposed to be sent to my account[protected] but it got transferred to another account[protected]. Transaction id[protected]. I visited both the banks on saturday and told them the incident in details. But no bank is ready to take the responsibility and solve the issue. Icici bank customer care gave me the details of account but said as hdfc is the initiator of the transaction, they have to raise the request. Hdfc bank said, as the transaction has completed, they can not raise the request and icici bank has to support. As icici knows that the transaction is incorrect, bank can call the account holder and ask him to revert or else block the amount so that he can not use it. Please help me and refund the money or at least contact to that person and ask him to send it back. Was this information helpful? | |||
