ICICI Bank — Personal Disbursed for a huge interest rate without confirmation.

The ICICI Bank executive contacted me through a referral from my friend. The executive has offered me a personal loan of 2 lakhs on 15% interest. I have asked him to send me a official copy stating the rate of interest and EMI details before disbursing the amount but the amount was disbursed to me on June 27th 2014 without any confirmation. When I later contacted him he said that the loan amount has been sanctioned at a rate of 17.5%. How can the bank disburse the amount without consulting me when there is a change in interest rate. I want the bank to change the interest to 15% and confirm the same through an official mail. I am the customer of the bank for three years and I had a good opinion on the bank until this. Your executive has taken my signs on the blank form and your bank filled interest rate as per you own will. While taking the signs your executive mentioned 15% interest. Now when everything is done you know that the customer cannot do anything hence you filled the interest rate of your own will. When I asked for confirmation you did not provide stating that our bank will not provide confirmation before the disbursement. Now when i ask for help you say me the same rules that we need to have something in official mail provided before disbursement.

Neither your officials took any confirmation before disbursing the amount. Good a nice way of doing open fraud. Appreciate your way of dealing with a loyal customer for three years. Your executives harass me to close the ticket. Great fraud banking.


I know your bank rules are designed only to fool the customers your bank can only do fraud with customer on the name of agreements on empty forms signed by customers(who trusted your bank while singing form). There are no rules in your bank which can help the customer.


Last but not least your executives speak as if they have given the loan to me in charity.

I do not what to expect from the fraud bank like you...

A person who claims to be the official of ICICI bank has called to me from this number [protected] and he says that the bank in no manner can help me. I have to bear the interest and even if I need to cancel my loan now I have to pay 4% closing charges. I never expected such a useless response from the bank authorities. He now in-turn asks me do you have anything in written form that our executive has offered you 15%. The bank does not provide official documents. Initially when I requested the executive several times to send the official mail confirming interest rates he did not send me neither the bank has given a confirmation call now once everything is done they ask for written proof.

A nice way of doing fraud and blaming the customer itself rather than finding the executives fault and trying to help the customer they instead harass the customer saying this are our bank rules.

Good rules for doing open fraud.

Dear Akheel,

ICICI is the worst bank in India.They only survive because of the political links they have.
They should be hit with heavy fines and hope you get the justice.

Again an official named Prem calls from the branch and says that the bank in no manner can help me. I have to bear the interest and he says that this is the smallest issue so I am wasting my time in raising the complaint and he asks me to close this complaint as the bank cannot help me. A very customer friendly bank which cheats its own loyal customer and says that the customer is unnecessary raising the issue. Even its relationship manager named kalesh says the same...
