[Resolved] IFB — Deplorable service support

I bought a maxidry 550 drier 2 weeks ago. After the first use i noticed unusual noise from the machine while the drum is rotating. I did not use it further and called up the Toll free number and registered a complaint. The ticket number given was 11424948 on 18th of this month. Nobody contacted me till 24th. I called up the no again and was given another no which was 11439701 and i was told someone will contact me on the same day or monday. On Monday a guy called and told he will come. I took leave and waited for the guy who never turned up. I called them up in the evening to find out the reason and i was told the technician was busy hence he couldnt come but he will come definitely on tuesday. Again i took leave n waited today till 1600 hrs for the guy to arrive. Since it didn happen i called the service centre guy to find out the reason who gave me the no of the technician who is not picking up his mobile. I m writing this to let my frustration alleviate. I m using 3 ifb products n i never ever expected such a pathetic service from such a reputed name. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)

He fixed the same piece back in place and the problem seemed rectified. Much to my dismay the issue has recurred after 2 drying sessions. I DO NOT WANT AND I DONT HAVE TIME TO DO ANOTHER CHASE TO GET THE THING RECTIFIED IN A MANNER DONE PREVIOUSLY. HENCE PLEASE PUT AN END TO MY ORDEAL EITHER BY REPLACING THE DEFECTVE MACHINE OR GIVING ME A FULL REFUND. I SINCERELY HOPE THAT I WILL NOT HAVE TO KEEP CALLING THE SERVICE CENTRE TO GET THIS DONE.

THIS WAS THE LAST THING I EVER WANTED. After my relentless struggle for more than a week to arrange a technician the guy turned up last week. He dismantled the machine, inspected and came to the conclusion that the sound was due to a metal clip which is used to hold the heating coil in place came off from its place and caused rubbing against the drum. He fixed the same piece back in place and the problem seemed rectified. Much to my dismay the issue has recurred after 2 drying sessions. I DO NOT WANT AND I DONT HAVE TIME TO DO ANOTHER CHASE TO GET THE THING RECTIFIED IN A MANNER DONE PREVIOUSLY. HENCE PLEASE PUT AN END TO MY ORDEAL EITHER BY REPLACING THE DEFECTVE MACHINE OR GIVING ME A FULL REFUND. I SINCERELY HOPE THAT I WILL NOT HAVE TO KEEP CALLING THE SERVICE CENTRE TO GET THIS DONE.
