[Resolved] IFB Industries — charging service fees within warranty period | |||||
IFB is charging 450/-Rs for service. Even the warranty period is within active period of 4years. Also, they were screaming over customer care call, arrogantly. When I raised request for phone number and area changes, they diverted it as service request call. And sent over service representative, who came and charged us 450/-Rs Service fee(doing nothing but removing connections and refitting them). Then we showed that our machine is still under warranty and it should be free service, he called his main branch and over call the representative spoke rudely. Main issue started when representative screamed over call stating that "can't you remember whether your washing machine is under warranty or not" It's the worst experience to a customer. There are 2 types or services provided: 1. within warranty service. Who comes and sells unnecessary powders and fittings. that makes us pay more than 1000/-Rs 2. service after warranty period.
