Our ifb washing machine is under amc and we are located in ponneri (Outskirt of chennai). We have registered a complaint on 01.09.2019 and a service person came to our home to attend this issue on 04.09.2019 but he couldn't resolve the issue as he didn't bring the part and told he will be back after 2 days. Our area service centre is located in red hills and it's manager and attender closed the complaint on 06.09.2019 without our knowledge and since then they have been telling us that they have ordered the parts and yet to receive it for more than one month (As of[protected]. As my parent don't know to read any messages the could not read the feedback message that has been sent when they close the complaint and been fooled by the local service centre people.
I have a few questions that ifb needs to address if they value their customer.
1) how can a service complain which is under amc can be closed without the knowledge of the customer? (Implication from this attitude of ifb service people is that amc which is once seen as a value addition to the ifb product is now being used to scam people as amc has been priced as much as a new semi-automatic washing machine)
2) our local service centre people were giving a reason for the delay as ifb don't have spare as it was an old machine. This give rise to a question that if ifb can't produce enough spares for the sold machines why do they haven't mentioned it in their warranty or amc booklet that "our spare get delayed in delivery if your machine model gets older than 10 years" and why do they have amc for those machines in the first place?
3) why can't i find any grievance redressal policy? (As your services like amc cost as much as your product so i suppose ifb is generating more revenue through this kind of services than by producing any quality product that has actual quality life period) Was this information helpful? |
