I registered my complaint on June 10. The technician visited on June 11. He was in such a hurry that he did not explain what the problem was in detail neither did he give any estimate. I had to call customer care the next day and find out from the local service center about the problem. The PCB needed to be changed. This was on June 11 evening. the local service center person told that the part would be needed to order from the company and would take a couple of days and he would call to let me know the progress on Monday.
I gave a call on Monday and the replay was that the part has been ordered and we will do the work by June 15 Wednesday. Today when i again call up he says that since part comes from Goa its taking time and job cannot be done till Friday, June 17 2016.. I called up IFB customer care but they had no idea about the job progress...
lots of question now...
1. Does the IFB not care about the complaints that they get.. i.e. whether they are resolved or not? because i found it very dumb that the customer care executive was again going to escalate my query and provide me with local service center number again. Are these people really trained this bad?( forget that the person on the line was rude too)
2. If the service center technician put in a request fro the PCB part.. would it really take 4 days to get a part from GOA? these days we order from e- service and things come from as far as Bangalore within two days..
