I procured IFB Digital 5.5 KG Washing machine ( Serial No: 5580) in 2009 and I have an active Annual Maintenance contract valid till 24-Mar-2018.•Twice I have renewed Annual Maintenance contract post warranty expired and this machine has undergone several spare replacement in the last 5 plus years.
I have registered a service complaint on 19th Jun under ticket no [protected] and on 23rd Jun, I got a SMS stating your complaint no: [protected] has been resolved and asked to SMS “N” to [protected] if the issue was not resolved. I did that but I got a response stating “Sorry, we were unable to identify your ticket number. Please contact our call center for help”. After several chase up with the engineer and with their service agency (Mobile no: [protected]) and the board was replaced. The issue was not resolved even after the board was changed and this time engineer mentioned the tacho meter to be replaced. He mentioned that he will order that and replace as soon as it arrives. I got a call from TN escalation team on 29th July and I have provided the entire case history over an email. I asked for AMC refund and to take back the washing machine paying me 50% of the capital cost since it did not provide me ROI as expected. No response that as well then I wrote a mail to Company Secretary G Ray Chowdhury and a week later to Chairmain Bijon Nag. I got a call post this mail and the manager assured for AMC refund and fix the machine problem.
Later I got a mail on 1st Sep stating they will provide AMC refund and they will not repair the machine free of cost which is really unfair
