Updated by Alka Verma 77 I still await a resolution on the complaint registered on 6th November (complaint details are above ).
Having received an acknowledgement from IFB on 8th Nov, no one has contacted me so far.
It is sad that a reputed Company like IFB takes so long to move. I would urge the Customer Care section of IFB to take immediate and appropriate action against KUNAL Electronics at the RAHEJA MALL, Gurgaon and refund the Rs. 7000/- that was deducted from my refund immediately. If documents are required with details of Invoice and refund cheque I will be happy to provide them
I do believe that IFB would be concerned for it's reputation and not let unscrupulous distributors spoil their service & sales record.
I am truly disappointed with this "could not care less" attitude of the company. It is unfortunate and not acceptable. Service and sales are both pathetic from my experience and I will have to resort to starting a social media campaign against IFB which I have been hoping to avoid.

Updated by Alka Verma 77 I am sad indeed to say that in spite of the IFB representative making contact with me a week ago and assuring me that this would be resolved not later than Monday the 26th November I am only getting excuses and assurances but nothing has been actioned. I have provided documentary evidence of the Invoice and settlement with dates as I was told that the agent says I was explained I would lose Rs. 7000 /- before the Dishwasher was sent to me. It is completely untrue but IFB chooses to take the dealers side who has provided WhattsApp messages sent to me which were after the incident went sour and he planned not to return my money. Is this what we should expect from IFB. I must say I am extremely disappointed and did not expect a reputed Company like IFB to be hand in glove with their agents in cheating an uninformed customer who will take the AUTHORISED DEALER"S word and commitment as that of IFB or why go to an IFB Point... I am still hoping IFB will consider the impact on it's reputation and come up with a satisfactory resolution. The gentleman from IFB who has been talking to me is Mr. Shashank Arora. I do feel very disheartened and let down with the very unpleasant and unprofessional dealing of both KUNAL ELECTRONICS, GURGAON and IFB Customer Care.

Updated by Alka Verma 77 I am sorry to say that in spite of several assurances from the IFB representative Mr. Shashank Arora, nothing has moved at any level. It seems that Customer Satisfaction is not a priority with
IFB India. It leaves me with little choices other than publishing it extensively on Social Media in the hope that other customers are not cheated the way I was and do not have to go through this kind of fraud and unprofessional behaviour from both IFB dealers and IFB Employees.
So much for Customer care from IFB. I will now have to take it up once again through the Consumer Court and warn other users about the lousy aftersales and customer care of IFB .

Updated by Alka Verma 77 I write to express my extreme disappointment with IFB both Customer Service & Dealership. I was contacted by 3 different people from 3 different locations Head Office, Local Sales Office & Customer Care and was assured of a resolution over and over again. I was even offered a micro wave by the local representative Mr. Shashank Arora who said he had received a letter from the HO to resolve the issue ( about 10 days ago ) I was told that the GST of Rs. 7000/- cannot be refunded as the Kunal Electronics says he explained this to me before the sale. Which customer would agree to losing 7 thousand rupees knowingly ? It seems to me that IFB has no interest in the consumers statement nor in loss of their reputation. I lost Rs. 7000/- because some salesperson of IFB misguided and gave me incorrect information and I warn others to be very watchful and NOT to deal with IFB because they do not care about a senior citizens hard earned money being taken by their unscrupulous dealers and employees. Reputation and trust once broken is hard to build and Companies like IFB will continue to cheat honest citizens by manipulating, giving false information and selling products without being responsible for installation . I can only hope the Consumer Forum will take up my case and get me compensation for cheating and mental torture by IFB and it's associates.

Updated by Alka Verma 77 Sadly the Consumer Forum could not bring IFB to book and IFB does not care about it's customer or image.
I am extremely disappointed with both.
Lesson learnt and time wasted.
The consumer has NO voice in the Company, Dealer, Consumer Forum nexus.
I for one will never deal with IFB again and tell others about my bitter experience as well.
This is extremely distressful as our faith in Corporates takes a beating. If the IFB does not care about the customer and makes false assurances and keeps buying more time with no definite plan of action in place it is best to buy from local manufacturers ( at least the price is sensible ) and not be cheated by sales agents like KUNAL ELECTRONICS in Raheja Mall Gurgaon.
The Company is hand in glove with their unscrupulous dealers and have no criteria to dole out agencies. Infact through this entire very unpleasant experience the dealer has not connected with me …. the sale was made through a salesperson and all communication of IFB in validating what I say has been through this fraud salesperson.
I have provided all documentary evidence to Mr. Shashank Arora, the IFB Representative for my area, which is dated and clearly there is no GST regulations that are binding with the timelines already established with documented evidence.
Yes the money I was cheated of is important but even more important is the loss of trust in IFB and there representatives.
I still hope that IFB will not disappoint me and ensure a fair settlement of this issue.
