We had purchased an IFB TL-RDW 6.5 KG AQUA washing machine back in 2018. Suddenly, in December of 2021, the machine started showcasing multiple problems. So, I called customer care and they didn't raise any complaint or appoint a service engineer but suggested to contact the dealer directly. With that, I contacted the IFB dealer in Pune ([protected]) and raised an issue to them regarding the same on 1st January 2022, following that the technician (Mr. Sameem Khan, [protected]) came and he inspected the machine.
After inspection, he suggested that the motherboard was damaged and had to be repaired, but he did not guarantee any specific life of the same after repairs. He also mentioned that the pressure sensor was damaged and must be replaced. When asked for a technical report of the inspection he did and what the exact problem was and its cause, the technician fumbled and denied to provide any of the same. Which doubts me if any of the damages are relevant or might have been caused by the mishandling during the inspection. No service ticket has also been raised by the dealer, hence I'm unclear about any progress about my complaint.
Furthermore, I decided to purchase a new motherboard instead and requested the technician to quote me accordingly. He hasn’t provided me any inputs yet since the day and after repeated follow-ups now he says that the motherboard is out of stock. The machine comes with 4 years of Warranty & 10 Years of Spare Parts Warranty and the same has also been denied to me.
Poor after sale service and unskilled technicians of IFB has been causing me inconveniences since then. No satisfactory solution has been provided till date, and I hence request you to escalate this issue further and help me resolve it at the earliest. I have been a customer of IFB for the past 15 years and had used 3 IFB washing machines prior to this and I regret to say this but the trust I had earlier with IFB is fading day by day. Never had I faced such terrible support on behalf of IFB.
