IFB Industries — Warranty issue
I bought IFB machine in Jan 2022. Company provided 4 years Moter warranty and 10 years of spare parts warranty. Also there are some free services provided by company which I have never experienced.
I launched a complain to IFB customer care and complain no is [protected].
First of all, technician visited after escalation.
First impression from technician is that my machine is not in warranty. I tried to convince him that i'll show bill when he will reach.
When he reached and checked the machine ... I showed him the bill.
Further he checked and found a small hair clip and one spoon (use and through) in exit water pipe.
Based on that technician rejected the warranty of the product and demanded money for the Moter.
Although company fitted one filter b/w exit water pipe and Moter (Image attached below of white filter).
Technician rejected the whole warranty by saying that its a physical damage.
1. That hair clip and the spoon are not parts of machine.
2. The view which technician can check is uploaded below. I don't see any damage in that view for motor.
3. Motor is fitted inside the machine, no one can see what is happening inside.
4. If filter is there to protect motor from such object and its not protecting ... then its a fault of the design, not customer.
When complain escalated to area manager, Delar, technician, customer care... everyone has different views.
Everyone is trying to explain the situation from their own view ... but no one is answering that for hidden motor, which we can't see from nude eyes. What is the definition of physical damage.
If motor is not working ... no physical damage... what else can happen with motor which company is covering in warranty.
I am looking forward for the resolution at the earliest.
