On 1st july 2020 my ifb microwave (23sc3) stopped working and i was told that the magnetron needs replacing. The manager at the ifb service partner 'aparaa enterprises' in bangalore asked me to take the amc and i wouldn't have to worry for the next 1 year regarding any service or part replacement issues.
I specifically asked him if all service related work and all parts would be covered under this amc and he confirmed.
Now my touch panel isn't working properly (Ticket number [protected] raised today) and everybody at ifb including people from aparaa enterprises are calling me and warning me that the touch panel is not covered under warranty. This is a terrible business practice. Even before the technician has visited my place and checked the issue, everybody is warning me of additional charges despite the amc being inforce.
I am extremely appalled and disgusted by the behavior of your entire organization regarding this matter. If this issue is not fixed as part of the amc i am going to dump this microwave on the side of the road and make sure i do my bit to tell everybody how ifb treats its long standing and regular customers.
