I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the poor product /service quality of ifb split ac2.0 t iaci24x83t3c-odu. I am writing this letter to convey my extreme displeasure at the faulty products and high cost of service by ifb. I have purchased this ac this year 28.02.2020 and it has got cooling problem just after 6 month purchase. Sometime it’s showing e4 error on the screen.
I booked a complaint on 22nd september, 2020- ticket no. Is [protected] and your customer care executive said that technicians will solve the issue within 96 hours, unfortunately not get any call or any actions from the ifb till this moment (29th september 2020).

    I have elite sx washing machine with the amc valid from 01.12.2018 to 30.11.2020 for the machine serial no.[protected]. The national lockdown due to covid-19 has caused difficulty to all and no service could be provided for any non-essential services. The lockdown continues from march mid-2020 to date. It is requested to extend the amc warranty free of cost for the non operational period (March to august 2020) as a gesture to support the customers who are already having amc. Request to accept the request and forward me the extended amc till 30.05.2021.

    Ifb replied "as per company policy no such policy has been initiated by our company"

    Your reply is not sensible. Policies are created for the betterment of the customer and the public. You can`t behave irresponsibly during this pandemic situation.
    The Reply by IFB Customer Care is unsatisfactory. Request to escalate the problem to higher authorities for ammicable solution.

      Hi,
      I made a complaint 4 months back as my washing machine stopped working with a huge sound. Since it was lock down we understood unavailability of the service technicians and once lock down was released they attended our complaint. Took our machine and didnt respond for more than 2 months. Then they gave our machine which broke down in 1 day. After that the reception who takes complaint started talking rude and shouting at us, not answering our call, putting us on mute. We requested them many times as we are not someone who shouts at people and yet when they were talking rude we were devastated as they got 8000 of our money for service and machine still wasnt working. Still not resolved and they are talking very rude saying why calling everyday like relative, cut the call and all. Ifb has the worst service and customer response team ever.

        Our ifb washing machine senorita aqua vx 6kg wasn't working. E reached out to the ifb service center near my place and they sent a technician to check the issue. A technician visited, checked the machine and told us that motherboard has become faulty and needs to be replaced. We asked him to replace and the next day he came to replace the motherboard. When the technician visited he just brought an unpacked motherboard. When we asked about why didn't be bring the board with proper company packing, he said this is how the dealer gave us. How do we believe that it is an original ifb motherboard? How do we believe that it's a new motherboard? How do we check the mrp of the product when the product packaging is not available? Why aren't they unpacking the product in front of the customer? How do we validate the price quoted by the technician? The technician also took back the old motherboard - why do they do that?

            Same status. Ifb did not respond. Today i discovered that ifb has cheated me every way possible. I thought i was buying a made in india product but it is actually a made in china substandard product. The pcb's original date of manufacture is 2015.11.09, but a paper sticker is pasted on the pcb and it shows the date as 2018.06.09. White marking on the cracked ic clearly indicates that they had detected the ic as not reliable/weak/faulty. Not to mention the so greedy has these companies become! Can ifb help me get rid of this garbage?

            The appliance was lying as garbage in my house and I could not dispose it. So, I had to compromise and pay prices for printed circuit board, touchpad membrane and service fees to IFB. Hope the new parts are reliable and the appliance can be used safely.

                Dear madam / sir,

                We had raised a complaint no. [protected] (Our registered mobile number
                [protected]) as the washing machine mentioned in the subject was giving
                Problems related to the door (The panel was showing door issues). The
                Service person came after a couple of days of complaint and changed
                The sensor first. As the washing machine was still giving issues, he
                Came a couple of days later and replaced the front panel also.

                After one week the washing machine again stopped working saying there
                Was a door issue. We raised a complaint again and this time they came
                Twice but have been saying some part has to be changed repeatedly.
                There has been no action on their part to either procure the part or
                Attend to it. Yesterday again the service person came, checked and
                Left without giving any solution. It is going to be more than a month
                Now that the washing machine is not working properly.

                We would request you to kindly look into this and resolve the issue at
                The earliest. The owner of the machine is a senior citizen and it is
                Extremely difficult for them to work without a washing machine and
                Then keep following up for repairs constantly.

                  I had register a case with ifb on 20aug-2020 with ticket number [protected]. After 22 days, today ifb engineer visited for issue at my home. I am very very unhappy with ifb services.

                  I have called chetan (Area manager) but he just asked engineer for do this case on friday.
                  Ifb is world class service provider. But reality is different at ground level. This a my case as a example.

                  Can i get justice as ifb unbale to attend my call on time and suffered as i am unable to wash my family clothes for a moth?
                  Can i get compensation on this as i am suffered loot after paid full amount of amc contact?
                  Some has to take responsibility from ifb.

                  I expect some positive approach for ifb or i have to go to court to fight for customer rights with fir case.

                  Note - ifb will be fully responsible for any further action for court case.

                      microwave 23sc3, on 1st july 2020 my ifb microwave (23sc3) stopped working

                      On 1st july 2020 my ifb microwave (23sc3) stopped working and i was told that the magnetron needs replacing. The manager at the ifb service partner 'aparaa enterprises' in bangalore asked me to take the amc and i wouldn't have to worry for the next 1 year regarding any service or part replacement issues.
                      I specifically asked him if all service related work and all parts would be covered under this amc and he confirmed....

                      I bought a built in hob (Model no. 436c-tr-bg) in march 21 this year. Around 10/12 days back suddenly it caught fire from all sides. At that time the smallest burner was on on seam mode. Nothing else. We lodged a complaint in ofb customer care (Ticket no. [protected]). After 2 days one of their employee came, did not do much. I disconnected the gas connection and kept it aside. He just connected again and for sometime, till he was present, it was ok. But immediately after he left when we started cooking again it caught fire bigger than earlier. I informed the service man immediately, but he said that he will talk to his seniors. After that again i filed a complaint in ifb customer care and they said some senior expert will visit within 4 days (With the same ticket number). Last saturday (19th september 2020) 4 days were over, nobody came. Again i called on saturday, they said by monday certainly somebody will visit. But so far no response. So i request you to take necessary action. Now i do not want even any replacement of the defective product, i want full refund with compensation.

                        Dear sir,

                        I made a service request for ifb washing machine front load on 30/08/2020. Thru my mobile no.[protected] vide ticket no.[protected]-the problem is not sort it out and cancelled by service center.

                        Again i raise the complaint on 04/09/20 vide ticket no.[protected] on 04/09/2020 and they send the technician he said problem in the board the machine is under warrenty only so we will indent to ifb and next week we will replace the board. This ticket no also cancelled by service center

                        And again i raise the complaint yesterday thru chat bhat ref no. Cb[protected].

                        Again i raise the complaint on 12/09/20 it was also cancelld from your end without sending the technician.

                        The ifb customer care given the phone no of ms. Selvi - global solution-[protected] she is not picking up the phone.

                        Please sortit out the issue immediatly

                          My ifb front load washing machine was not working so i registered a complaint to customer care. They sent such a useless person who told that one of the part is burnt and you have to get it replaced which costs near to 6k. Also part is not available so we have to brought it from somewhere else then after 12-13 days he replaced that part ie. 29july. He hasn't given any receipt of that part neither any warranty.

                          Now again machine stopped working after 1.5 months (15 sept) again we call that guy to check the machine and now again he is saying that part is burnt, again you have to pay 6k. Such a bloody # ifb customer care they are not helping now. Now when we are asking for the part name and receipt then that mechanic even don't know the part name. Also he don't have any receipt. He is just saying that part warranty was one month only, you have to pay money again.

                          Kindly take strict action against those who are fooling their customers. And provide us the resolution

                            I have an ifb micrwave, purchased around 4 years back. It's door handle latch is broken, i have contacted ifb service center couple of times and they are not able to resolve the issue. I need a new door handle or latch, whatever is applicable.

                            Could you please look into it. I am having a hard time reaching out to customer care.

                              My IFB machine was supposed to be installed today, but the installation person never showed up and stopped lifting my calls. Very unprofessional and I want it installed tomorrow at any cost.

                                Following is the sequence of events which made to think we have decided on the wrong product and wrong company.

                                1. 17th of june 2020 pre booking done for ifb neptune vx.
                                2. Delivery of machine happened on 15th of july 2020
                                3. Installation happened on 17th of july 2020.
                                4. Machine stopped working on 30th of july 2020.
                                5. Informed service person and rised ticket on 31th july 2020.
                                6. Service person attached on 2nd of august 2020 and informed machine have major issue and will have to be replaced.
                                7. Replacement number [protected] rised on 3rd of august 2020.
                                8. I didn't know what they are going to replace, no response from ifb after this point.
                                9. Again called ifb customer care, they don't have information about replacement.
                                10. Called mr. Umesh regarding the same and informed about this issue on 6th of august 2020, he promised he will check and get back.
                                11. On 18th mr. Umesh informed about miss aradhana and mr. Krishan kanth and gave there mobile number.
                                12. On 18th called miss aradhana after knowing about the issue she told she will call back, from that day till date she never called me back.
                                13. On 19th i called mr. Kanth regarding the issue, he told replacement will take time and if i agree he will change the pcb board, immediately i agreed and he promised that it will be solved in that week.
                                14. After that nothing happened, i tried to call mr. Kanth he text messaged me to contact miss atadhana, as usual he didn't respond.
                                15. I called mr. Kanth again on 24 morning about my disappointment, he took miss aradhana into conference and assured to send person to check the system and do it on immediate basis.
                                16. I took follow up with miss aradhana, as usual no response.

                                As you can see your service team is least caring about the issue, after calling multiple times also they don't call back.

                                I am really disappointed with the way i am been treated and don't want to continue any more, request to refund (₹ 36790 + cover stand other required items ₹5295) total ₹42085 (I have all bills with me) the payment done and take back the machine on immediate basis.

                                After the above email to ifb they told there will refund the amount till now no response.
                                No one is answering the calls.
                                No email response.
                                I dono what to do can i file a consumer case against ifb?

                                  The quick-start button on the microwave model 23bc4 stopped working suddenly. The microwave is not even 2 years old. Very unhappy with the quality of the product.

                                    On the 21st of april 2020, i was trying to place abn order with ifb on line. The entire transaction went through and i. Payed using my credit card and got a message from razorpay saying my payment was successful. I however got no acknowledgement from ifb, nor did i receive my salt.

                                    As all your offices were closed at the time, because of the lockdown, i could not get in touch wit you.

                                    After that i have called your customer care twice, who agreed to look into the matter, but again i have no response.

                                      My machine stopped working since last year. Just a day before i got the amc (Insurance) done for 2 years. I filed a complaint. A service associate came after a week and told we should get new wiring to get the machine work and that is not covered under amc. I paid 4000 for the wiring still the machine did not work. He told he will come back the next day and fix the machine. He never turned up, when i traced him and called him he replied we could not find the spares for the machine so nothing can be done. He also added take a new machine in exchange. We asked for the amc money back since the insurance is of no use since the day one. Then he stopped picking our call. Somehow i traced the manager number and called him. Since then i am calling him weekly thrice till today still the issue has not been resolved. Am washing my clothes without washing machine hoping it will be resolved soon.in next few months amc will be expired and we could not do anything. May be thats their plan.

                                      I thought of getting exchange for the machine but the exchange offer they provide is higher than the online rate. But still my amc payment in vain 😢
