I had took an AMC from IFB, Since IFB does not interact directly with their customers they sent a franchisee who collected rs.3200 and handed over a 2 year AMC. Details of this has been shared with IFB Customer care.
Customer care has refused to service the machine under AMC sighting that this AMC is not valid as it is not issued by them.
I have asked the question how can a customer trust any body who comes to be AUTHORIZED. The AMC issued has perfect IFB office address. TIN and CST numbers.
Right now the machine is in breakdown status from NOV/DEC.
IFB call centers keep issuing service complaints and email response to complaints is almost nil as i have got just two replies in the entire span of 2 months of repeated reminders and calls to their call center.
How ever, i have also raised a concern that the AMC receipt has serial number and it can be traced to which franchisee (existing) old could have issued it to trace it.
