[Resolved] IFB Industries — service charge: cheating by the company technician and company official not heeding to the complaint | |
My ifb washing machine elena vx (Bought in 2012) was not working since its drum was broken. Company technician (Sheenu refrigeration, chengannur,) replaced the drum on 28/12/17 and charged me rs 7100 towards the cost of drum. But on the following day (29/12/17) when a company executive called me (From the number [protected]) to enquire whether the complaint was resolved i asked him about the cost of the drum and he told me that it costs rs.4000 only, i was shocked and complained him about the excess charge collected from me by the company technician. I sent a copy of the bill to him on the same day to his whatsapp number but till date he has not given me a reply my id was 14502688. Hope the company will take steps to reimburse the excess amount of rs.3000 to me and also take to stop this type of cheating by the company technicians, if not only god can save ifb customers.

I got Rs.3000 looted from me, back.Thanks to https://www.consumercomplaints.in (not to IFb).The company responded only when my complaint found place in this forum.The company executive paid no attention to my complaint earlier.The company turned a blind eye to the issue earlier, but now they are kind enough to return the money only when the complaint become public., .But again one thing, the company is gaining a lot from collecting exorbitant service charge(not Rs500 or 1000 but collected Rs3000 in excess) because only one among a hundred customers complains .(The same service technician, (Sheenu Refrigeration, Chengannur) collected Rs6000 from my sister for replacement of drum for the same machine three years back .They may be cheating a lot of people like this as the company do not publish the cost of the spare parts.It can be known from the company executives only and the contact numbers of the executives are not available to the customers.If the company has any sincerity in this issue let them inform me end their customers what action they have taken against the technician (Sheenu Refrigeration, Chengannur, Kerala)and what measures they are going to take to protect their customers from cheating in the future
