[Resolved]  IFB Industries — Unprofessional behavior of IFB technician

I had registered a service request through calling customer care of IFB Industries for my 5.5ltr front loader washing machine WM ELENA DLX on 14/02/2022. The ticket No. [protected] was attended by a technician whose contact number is [protected]. He visited my place on 14/02/2022 afternoon and rectified the problem of the washing machine by changing a pipe at the coast of Rs.149/- excluding his service charges which is Rs.590/-. But throughout his stay at my place his behavior was very unprofessional and strange. He said that for the time being he may have sorted out the problem of the machine but there is no guarantee that the problem may not arise again. He was very pessimistic the way he was interacting and repeatedly said that the problem in the machine may arise every now and then and in each time such thing happens we need to call IFB and give service charges as the machine is out of warranty. He seems to be very unprofessional and casual in his work.

Mere apologizing is not the way to address such a sensitive issue. Being into service industry it is the utmost necessity on the part of a company like IFB to deploy and impart training of inter personal skills to their skilled technicians, almost bulk of whom lack basic manners regarding how to interact with customers. They have to be helpful informative and supportive instead of being casual lackadaisical and pessimistic. I really want to know what kind of action has been taken against the technician and I require evidence of that as well.
