[Resolved] IFB Industries — Washing machine

Model is SENORITA SX, serial no[protected]. One & a half year ago there was a complaint in the machine. As per the technician advise we changed the control panel/the board. Which costed me around 5000. I remembered what I paid approximately but the bill I misplaced as we shifted to another house. At that time there was no display when we switch on the machine. This time we got an error message TACO on the display and there drum wasn't rotating. Technician says it's the board problem. Within a span of 1&1/2 year I have to change the board again.
After the technician said it's due to the board/panel though we told him several times it's not because of that as we checked what taco error message is for. Still we agreed with him as we wanted our machine to work. He brought a new board when he connected it machine showed the same error. I mentioned him about what we said earlier about the error message. Then he called his senior and confirmed that it must be the problem with motor. Now he said, it will cost you around 7 thousand. Why is it like this. Is it a guessing game? He will come and guess and we have to pay for it. He left the machine without closing it properly saying that he will be back on Monday. That was 14th of September till today no sign of him. When I called him to find out he said they will send a message to me. And I got a message as my problem is resolved. Is this the way to solve any problem. I called him about the machine which he left open he replied he will be coming tomorrow that was yesterday. Still no sign of him. I don't know who to blame, I don't even know what he has done in that machine. The belt or the rubber is been removed and hung on the water tap. Whenever I call he says he will be coming. Don't know when?. I have written three mails regarding this finally i gotta a reply asking for my number. I sent my number after that again the same silence. This drama is happening since August.. Now it's October end still I haven't got any solution from them.

Thank you consumer complaints forum our IFB machine issue has been resolved which o was struggling with for two months. I didn't get response to my mails which led me to post on this platform on 23rd October. On 24th October I got a call from the IFB customer care they assured me a solution for the problem. This Tuesday a technician came home and took the motor to check it and later called me that it's the motor complaint and it has to be replaced. He replaced the motor today with a new one. We paid rs 5455 including service charge. But the spare part warranty/guaranty wasn't mentioned. He gave us a bill which mentioned the amount. Now the machine is working properly. I wish IFB would have responded to my mails earlier. Thank you once again consumer complaints forum you are doing a great job. You were there to hear me out. Please continue the good work and help the needy.
