I purchased IFB Elena Aqua SX 6Kg 1000RPM; on 4th June 2018, and on 5th June 2018 the request for installation is been made and on 6th June 2018 at evening hrs one Technician (his mobile number is +91 [protected]), I asked him to fix the pipe to the common bathroom tap & he said it cant be done & he said he would give the connection through the wash basin water pipe connection to the washing machine, he said it would cost me Rs680/- extra and cannot provide bill towards it when i asked him for the bill..for small metal pipes and installation he charged me and the fitting which has been done by him was not even proper and the next day i noticed the water dripping from the fitting he has done. So i called up my apartment plumber and got the pipe fitting done on the next following day ie. on 7th June 2018.

Here comes the real problem with the washing machine: Yesterday i.e on 12th June 2018, I poured the IFB essentials liquid at around 8.30am into the slot provided and put cotton bedsheets for wash as the Technician didn't given me a proper demo how to operate the system on the installation day...The power is coming only at the main start button and the washing machine was in 6hrs delay start option & I thought the machine might start by itself and waited until 2:08pm and called up to IFB customer care centre to raise a request related to the problem I been facing and machine was not starting as I was also concerned about the Detergent liquid the poured into the machine as it gets dried up and might cause some other problem. The customer care executive promised me that he would arrange the technician and the problem would be resolved with in 24hrs. He also provided me the area technician contact number (which is +91 [protected]) to contact from my end too and which i did called him up and explained him the whole problem and he said today i.e 13th June 2018 he would send the technician get it done and he himself calls me up this afternoon at 12.12pm (13th June 2018) and informed me that he is sending the technician by 5pm and no body turned up. I kept trying to call him up and at first his number comes engage and later not reachable.

So, i contacted back to IFB customer care again 5.55pm and they provide me a lady incharge number (Miss Keerthana, the number is[protected], the number is not in use) and I call back to IFB customer care again at 6.35pm and the executive provides me the area branch head's mobile number and with his name (Mr.Dharmaraj and his mobile number is +91 [protected]) and when I tried calling him up his mobile was in engage and he didn't even tried to call back and check up by calling back to my mobile number when my calls been in call waiting, so I informed my husband to contact Mr.DharmaRaj and luckily the call got connected and my husband spoke with him explaining the problem and he provided a number who would do the service of the area we are residing and his name is Mr.Dattagiri (his mobile number which we received was +91 [protected]), I contacted this number and the calls are not getting connected.

Now who is gonna take care of my problem if they are not responding and sending the technicians on time and in-fact the request taken on 5th June 2018 for installation they closed it today and it's been confirmed by one of the customer care executive on call i made at 6.35pm. Isn't strange that after a 6working (i.e today 13th June 2018) days of installation the technician updates the installation and demo is done in they system!!!

It is very shame to say that IFB like companies are engaging such an irresponsible useless Technicians & Staff who are not efficient to deal with customers to resolve the customer complaints and not taking the customers complaints seriously at all..

I am attaching all the relevant screenshots of calls made to the mentioned mobile numbers and also to iFB customer care to my complaint.

I hope the consumer complaints division takes my complaint seriously and try to resolve the problem from they end as earliest as possible.

Note: My request is all about due to detergent liquid poured into washing machine and if it leads to another problem to the washing machine means I cannot afford anymore money as already spent lot of money out of my budget to purchase the washing machine in the first place.

Mr.Rasheed (IFB Technician) has visited on time as he mentioned would be on call and gave a live demo and reset the operating system. His mobile number is: +91 9704323332. It all has taken just 10minutes of time to clearly explain all the related information of the washing machine and has a good knowledge. I suggest IFB to have Mr.Rasheed kinda efficient employees and technicians who feel responsibility in they work and resolve the complaints at the earliest as possible in the first attempt when a customer reaches with they complaints to customer care service. IFB needs to be alert in the first place when the customers reaches to customer care to lodge a complaint rather than the customers gets frustrated/pissed/wasting they time for not getting the response on time and later customer reaches consumer complaints board by registering they complaints and gets the service done from the end of IFB. IFB is a reputed brand and needs to maintain its standard upto its customer service. I thank the whole team of consumer complaint board too for taking our complaints seriously and forwarding them to companies and getting them resolved from they end.
