[Resolved]  IFB — Negligence from IFB.

i have raised a complaint in IFB customer care 2 MONTH before about our newly purchased washing machine (Front load – 6 KG) and after a week one person from Chennai service station came to my home and take a look at the machine and he told there is a rat bite in the main wire which is getting connected to the board and we will replace. Then after 3 person came to inspect and confirmed board is the problem and will replace it. One person again came on15-Jul-14 to replace it, unfortunately he said the board is not matching with our IFB machine. Hence he took the board to his service centre and called us to inform that there is rat bite on the top of the main board and we have to pay Rs.5000 to replace the same. I asked how come rat will enter the machine, that too it bits the top of the board strip. The technician told that are two hole in the bottom of the machine and rat would have entered in that way and we will keep a filter so that the rat wont enter the machine again. This information was not told to us at the time of purchase or even by the person who came for demo. The demo person has requested to purchase water filter, stand and cover to have long life for this product. So we purchase the same from him but he did not inform us about the two holes down the washing machine. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> For the past 1 month the machine is kept open with out any cover by the service person. This is purely negligence by the demo person. and need replacement on free of cost Can any of the IFB people help me to get this resolved. I bough tthe product thinking that IFB is a good product and branded service and after this experience it is really making me to thing twice now. I have other few products at home and i have never experience this kind of service from the service station. Regards Harish [protected]

Dear Team,

Still the issue is not resolved.

As per the analysis done by the technician. The rat protection guard is already available but the same is not fixed correctly during installation due to which this problem occur. This clearly says this the problem by the IFB. However he want customer to pay money for replacement.

Is this what IFB response to customer. Very bad. I feel I should inform every one not to purchase IFb due to this issue.
