I had purchased a Washing machine of IFB infcact I had exchanged my old IFB machine for a new one. The old machine had given a good service but since more than 10 years old and change parts were a problem I exchanged it after asking IFB people which is a new and sturdy model.
The door lock had broken recently ( about 2 months) back and had got it replaced. Now again the same lock has loosened up and the machine is not working. I had given a complaint on 30th December 2014 but till today no body has come. I called again today i.e the 2nd of Jan 2015 and I was told by the lady in the office that the mechanic will come today and see what is the problem and then the parts required will be ordered. In fact I was told the same thing on the 30th December and we had waited for the mechanic the whole day and nobody turned up. On calling the office the phone was coming engaged.
This is happening in Goa - Panaji infact the olace where the machines are being manufatured. The service earlier some years bacjk was very good that is why we have gone for a new machine, but the service now is going from good to poor.
You are required to give prompt response. The mechanic is good but they are not being deputed promptly or there is shortage of the staff.
Otherwise it would be better to switch to a different brand where beteer services will be available.
