[Resolved]  IFB — Pathetic customer service - ifb washing machine

I have an IFB washing m/c which is under AMC till 2017. I registered a complaint(#[protected] as it was not working on 9th March 2016. On 11th March, it was attended and I was told that it requires many replacements but would be done only when it's body is changed for which i have to pay INR 3700/-. Same day I paid the amount. Today is 15th March and nobody has even contacted me with any update. I called up IFB Customer care number again today morning and asked them to escalate this and get the complaint resolved asap, but again no one has turned up yet. 3 months back also similar incident had happened, they were not ready to repair it unless i get the washing m/c body changed. After lot of follow-up and 8-10days, they had repaired the m/c. Customer Care exec gives service center head's or Area manager's numbers and nobody answers on these numbers.

No update received from service center till 16th March evening, so called up customer care number again and he gave me service center Manager's(R P Rana) number. Spoke to him and was taken aback by his callous attitude. He says we do not have the part and it will take time since it is not a small thing. When I told him that I was told on 11th March, while I was making payment, that it would be resolved on 12th itself if the part is available else it would be resolved within max 5 days...he tells me that he would repay the amount..please note that this is just the m/c body replacement(for which I have paid)., they are not even talking about the actual problem which is belt and some other part replacement which they have to do under AMC. They are pressurizing me to get the m/c body replaced, then only they will replace other parts and they are unable to replace the m/c body. I want my washing m/c to be repaired by tomorrow, with or without body, since it is under AMC else I will look for alternative ways...Why does IFB have such inefficient service centers ? I have not been able to run my washing m/c since last 8 days and one can imagine the burden!!!
