We have IFB washing machine Senorita 6kg. It came for repair and we lodged a service request with customer care on 4th of Oct 2015. Within a day service technician came to check to he machine and determined that drum and tub need to be replaced, and will do that in 3 days. After that initial contact none of the technicians came to repair the machine. I have called them every day to follow-up on the service. They initially picked the phone and promised to repair next day (this went on for few days, after that they have stopped taking phone calls. Out of frustration, I called the 24/7 customer care again and found that they have cancelled the complaint, we needed to lodge another request. This was on 17th. of Oct 2015. Again the same story, service manager Suraj promised to get it resolved in three days but the issue never got resolved. I have been calling technicians, Anand, Kiran Kumar, and service manager Suraj everyday multiple times. Its same story again. They say they will do it next day but that day never comes. For last few days they have stopped even picking up the calls. Again I called the 24/7 customer care yesterday and spoke to the floor supervisor who promised to get it resolved next day. Today he says he spoke to somebody called Shankar (another service manager, ) and the issue will be resolved by Thursday (29th of Oct.) I tried multiple times to call Shankar and there is no reply. I want to escalate to a higher level but the customer care floor supervisor refuses to give escalation points.
It is frustrating. If IFB does not want to support the washing machines because they are in warranty, or other reasons, please state that and we will buy a new washing machine. We have no problem with that. At least we will be a buying new machine and would not have had service interruption. We would have really appreciated if the IFB had stated the policy of not servicing their equipment after selling the equipment. Giving warranty and not servicing the equipment after they are broken during warranty period is not what we expect from a honest company.
Even now, be honest and tell us when you want to service our washing machine or not. If you really mean to service it, give the deadline and tell us what penalty you take if you miss it? If you do not want to service it, please say so, and at least you save us the frustration of being unsatisfied customer.
