I Sgowda have registered two parcels @JPNAGAR post office Bangalore 560078 on 8/8/11 with transactions
(1)No.RK[protected]IN to AmitGhosh,Seatle USA and(2)No.RK[protected]IN-to Pradeep Sandiego USA.
But as on date the articles have not reached the consignee.
I have lodged a complaint on 29/8/11 with SR.SUPDT.OF POS, Bangalore South vide complaint no[protected] and[protected] and reminded through email,over phone and personally explained our anguish over the delay/non delivery of the articles but no fruitful result yielded.
Further lodgede- complaint with [protected]@GMAIL.COM.and Sr.Doa-Kalpana.tewari.
May any one inthe Indian Post services would help us to see that the articles reached the concerned and confirm us in this regard.

Dear Sir /madam ,

I had couriered my goods from trivendram to ahmedabad. I had tracked my good till mumbai . when i asked about about it , they told its been lost at mumbai office . RECEIPT NO/ TRACKING NO: EL[protected]IN.
what should i do . Or what action i can take to get back my courier.

My complaint is with reference to my TDS, Rs 10087/-, which has been deducted by the post office at Saki Naka, Mumbai in my Income Tax Credits. The said amount was to be sent to the Income Tax Department, by the Post Office, which is yet to be done.

In september 2007, encashment of NSS 1871 Investment was done and TDS amounting to Rs 10087/- was deducted and Rs 46633/- was give to me by cheque.

The abovementioned amount of Rs 10087/- was, as per the process, supposed to be deposited in the Income Tax Department within 1 (one) month of date of deduction. In September 2007 incomplete Form 16A, with details missing like TAN number of deductor, Nature of Payment, PAN number of payee and the payee's address was given to me. After persuasion, revised Form 16 A was issued with the above details in July 2010.

Later on follow up with the Post Office, it came to our notice, that the Post Office had failed to deposit the TDS amount with the Income Tax Department.

I am apalled with the lack of professionalism and apathy at the Post Office. The officials are making me, a 72-year old man, run pillar to post without any kind of resolution. I am tired and frustrated with the way this department is functioning.

I am requesting the senior authorities to please arrive at a solution and ensure my TDS gets deposited in context of my PAN number ACYPG9881F at the earliest.

I posted 2 registered letters on 23/8/2011bearing no A 670 ans A 671 from Anushakti nagar Mumbai Post office whereas one acknowledgment due was received on 28.8.2011the second has not yet come back It is an important document as proof of receipt in the court case .can I get it soon.

Dear sir,

Sub: Non receipt of ROLAND BA 330-Portable Stereo-Sound System E Bay Item No[protected] Priced About 673 USD (Rs.31393.34 INR) as per my order placed included in USA Parcel No CP[protected] US Weight about 30 pounds.

Ref: CP[protected] US thro India Post.

I have brought to the notice of the Postmaster, Bangalore Foreign Sub-Post that the above parcel contains used motor vehicle seat weight as about 6.5Kgs instead of ROLAND BA 330 –Portable Stereo referred above. Since the ordered items are Missing, a written complaint is also filed at the above post office on 23/06/2011. An email complaint is also lodged in India post Website (Complaint No.[protected].
It appears that some unscrupulous elements are operating in the department who have abstracted the contents of the parcel. Such acts are shameful and bring down the image of our Indian postal system before foreigners. As an Indian, I felt myself ashamed to intimate such an act to my US Ebay seller. The postal authorities have accepted that there is an error in entry and there is abstraction of contents during its transit between Delhi and Bangalore. But they have not yet resolved the case till date, I have uploaded the photos documents relevant to my case with the following link :

I am a Armed services personnel. I had opened a MIS a/c of 15000/- in the year 2006 at Agra.My a/c no is 9040309. I got transferred to Hyderabad in the year 2007. I deposited my MIS passbook at the post office at Dundigal-500043 in Apr 2007. However till date the post office has not given me my passbook nor issued a new one. I am posted out from Hyderabad and it has become very difficult for me to pursue the case. I had written to the postmaster general AP circle Hyderabad in march 2011. Their office had sent me a reply with a copy to senior supritendent of post offices,Secunderabad Division to give a a suitable reply to the complaint. Five months have passed the reply is still awaited. If this is the attitude of our post offices to redress the grievances of the customers then our faith in this esteemed organisation will start waning.

I'm, Udhayakumar S. residing at Dhanalakshmi nagar in sekkadu went to post office located at thilakar st in pattabiram to buy revenue stamp for my official purpose today [27/08/2011].

I reached the post office by 11.45am & there was only one old man standing in the counter for "Speed post & Stamps" telling the details of his letters to be sent to the man in the counter.

I stood behind the old man waiting for him to finish & by 12.05pm the old man finished his work & left the place.

Then I asked the man in the counter for revenue stamp & he told me to wait as he was typing the speed post, so i waited for him to finish.

The man was keep on typing slowly till 12.25pm & i asked him for stamp again. He starred at me & told to wait. I asked him how long to wait & it was just a revenue stamp so give me so that i'll leave.

That man replied,"I'll give only after typing this work, if you can, wait orelse go to avadi post office & buy the stamp". Avadi post office is so long & i've to take my bicycle a long way to buy.

With no other way to do i waited there & got the revenue stamp by 12.50pm. For buying just a revenue stamp i waited for one hour in post office.

This is not the only incident in that post office. Several months ago when applying for postal identity card also i've faced a similar problem & at that time i was also insulted badly for asking my doubt which is, "Whether i've to paste stamp size photo or passport size photo in the application & can i affix passport size photo if i don't have a stamp sized one".

For my doubt the man in the center table[Head of that office i guess, an old man] replied,"Nee padichavan dhane? andha box kulla passport size photova otta mudiyuma? Arivilla?" in front of other customers.

Is this the way a person in the place of govt servant behave to his customers?

Kindly take action against such ridiculous people & because of such persons in post offices people refuse to use post office to maximum extent & the postal department loses its respect.

I kindly request you to consider my complaint & take appropriate action on the respective person & improve the overall quality of post office in pattabiram.

I am very sorry to complain that, I had sent an amount of Rs 1000/- (+ 50 towards postal commission) to my NEEDY BROTHER through eMO PNR No:[protected] booked at12:16:51 on[protected] from the Post Office situated at KADIRI, in ANANTAPUR Dist. but it is not yet cashed at my brother's.

It is learnt that the eMO PNR No:[protected] booked at12:16:51 on[protected] has reached the destination, URAVAKONDA at 12:30:10 on[protected]. Though the eMO has reached the destination the postal officials are not responding properly; and are replying irresponsibly. It is very unfair from the INDIAN POSTAL SERVICES.

The documents came till Timarni (Place near to Rahatganv) in Harda District, and Timarni post office sent that to other district Khandwa in spite of Rahatganv and in my address there is a clear mention of the pin code of Rahatganv.

Because of the mistake of Post Office Timarni(Pin 461228),that is in District Harda(M.P.) I could not receive my PAN card.

Hello, we believe we are victims of postal fraud in India.
We have been advised us to contact you for help.

We sent the two packages through Viashno Guesthouse with the person in charge who worked there Chris ([protected]@hotmail.com or 00 91 [protected]). He claims to work in Mumbai now. He sent them after the Holi festival this year by SAL (35 days).
We left India on 20th June and after 3 weeks of asking him to find out where our packages had gone as they had not arrived in our respective country's (he told us they were traceable on Indiapost.com but the numbers never registered online). He finally claimed to have found them conveniently the day after we arrived home, 21st June. He said they were stopped at the India customs because of their size and weight. Chris then told us he would have to travel to Dehli to release them and resend them but airmail. We had to send him over 15,000 rupees by Western Union for him to do this. He then sent us the bill a few days later (see attachments 'Dan 2' and 'Lina 2'). They seem similar to the Varanasi receipt's (see attachment 'Dan 1') and both still say SAL.

On Friday 29th July, Lina received a phone call from a guy calling himself Vicky (00 91 [protected]) who worked in the Dehli postal service saying he had Lina's package. It had been returned due a faulty address. This drew huge suspicions now as we wrote the address ourselves on the packages. We had until the day at 2pm to resend more money via Western Union so he could send the package again. Mine has still not been heard of. Vicky gave us another phone number of his boss when we questioned him he gave us this number (00 91 [protected]) for his boss. No-one by that number spoke English but we recognized the word Bangalore.

We are completely at a loss here as no one will assume responsibility to find out where our packages have gone. If they never were posted from the beginning we want to bring relevant legal action to the person(s) responsible. More importantly we want our packages back, they contain irreplaceable items.
