I have open my Recurring Deposit Account in Sangamner Post Office . now I want to close Account Premature.
I have Visit Related branch and ask for the same then also they never respond me for close my RD account premature.
after call to superdent of pune div. now They are ready to give me half amount of RD. sir, I I need all amount of my RD and I want to Close this Account premature . I also Ready to pay Premature Penalty Amount. Please Consider my problem.

I have to report a complaint against staff of postoffice, cherpulassery, palakkad dist, kerala state. I didnt know the fact that liquid samples could not be send to australia where my husband resides and i went to the above postoffice with liquid medicine samples. It was properly packed,wrapped in a cloth n wrote the content on the wrapper. l told them it was liquid medicines. They told ok,stamped and i payed Rs 309. After 10min,they called me and told that my registered parcel cannot be send. I went to postoffice and they asked the receipt and gave them in the hope that they will return the money i spend. they turned that paper into bits and gave my parcel back.when i asked for money,they shouted at me. On the slip pasted on the wrapper by them,it is written as follows..fgn-AIR-RL CHERPALCHERI [679503] A RL[protected]IN, counter no.1, OP-Code:CS, PrePS:Rs309.00, wt:375gm,02/01/2012, 13:53. i lost my money only because of their carelessness.. This should not happen to any other customers. so kindly do the needful with all your heart.

I Had a very important package to be sent to Ireland, which was booked at Indiapost Trivandrum on 18th Ovtober.The tracking Number was EL[protected]IN.It was not delivered after 2 months and tracking details shows only upto insert item into bag at Mumbai EMS.So i decided to send another one after 2 months.This time i booked the package on 16th December From Indiapost Trivandrum, and the Tracking Number was EL[protected]IN.Again The package was not delivered and the tracking status shows the same message.What can I DO for thai.Is Indiapost Such an Irresponsible Organisation.So what can be done to retrieve the packages now, as i am nearing the last date for submitting the form.

I had sent the article -RP[protected]IN- containing 3 dresses on[protected] at 11:15 am form Sector-11 post office(PIN 160011) at Chandigarh to Mulamgunnathukavu PO (PIN 680581), Thrissur HO, Kerala through parcel weighing 1590kgs. It reached only after 8 days on[protected]. But to my shock, only 2 dresses had been delivered. The pack was torn open with a sharp instrument like a knife which was evident with the torn plastic cover inside my parcel.

The postal department is responsible for safe delivery of its goods. The stolen dress costs Rs.750. How could I reclaim my money?

And not to mention, only now i knew why many consider India Post's service as worst and pathetic!
Beware of some thieves in the Department of Posts, Government of India!

As I am existing holder of RD account of Khagra P.O.,I want to open another RD Account in Khagra Post Office Pin No:- 742103 but the dealing assistant Mr. Rabin Babu as well as Post Master said that no new RD a/c can't be opend without an introducer who have a savings account so I could not able to open a fresh RD account in the said P.O.
Please the inform me the exact rule for opening an account in such case.

This is informing you that as the advertising of Kala zone silk mills product is shown on the many popular channel. So we got the order of material from many towns, villages, cities of all over India and we send that order of material through EPP-VPP.We booked it at head post office MAHIDHAR PURA SURAT.
From last many years we are booking more than 100 parcels in each day through Post Office, still we get many types problems in delivery process. Like as-Customer not get delivery on time, Stolen of many parcels and we have not received the VPP amount of many parcel from last many years. Because of these incidents our business suffered from many problems.
In all over India KALA ZONE SILK MILLS give the highest business to Post Office in Surat but still we are ignored by postal department.
We have complained many times about this matter but still we do not get any solution from your side. So we writing to you with the more expectation that, this time you take handle this seriously and please be helpful to us as fast as possible.I have a lot of complaints of consumer which are received by consumer complain website.
If we get solution from your side this time we will very thankful to you.

I had sent a legal notice through registered post along with A.D on 25.11.2011 from a small post office located on Mathura road, near Chevrolet Car Show Room. Even after 12 days I did not receive the A.D. Hence I inquired from the post office where I posted the notice. It told me to contact the Sarai Post Office which I did but the staff there as well as the post man of the concerned area flately refused to give any information in this regard. My registered post serial No. is 150. Kindly furnish the information regarding the status of the registered post.

Dear India Post - International Speed Post team,

Ref: Article Track # EK[protected]IN - Date of booking:23/Nov/2011 - Source: E'city/Bangalore - Destination: New York - Status: NOT delivered

I did book a letter/envelope through your International Speed Post service to New York on 23/Nov/2011. The promise was to deliver within 7 working days, at the time of booking. I could see the status of this article till 29/Nov/2011 - as reached New York post office(10022) only, but till now it is not delivered yet.

When tried, your official web-site is rejecting to log the complaint by showing a weired error as well. I did even send email onto '[protected]@gmail.com & [protected]@indiapost.gov.in' still NO RESPONSE.

I doubt whether you are really providing appreciable International Speed Post Services to your customers. My envelope has very important document to reach my New York bank through 1 of my friends there & if it is not delivered latest by 10/Dec/2011, I will end-up in BIG LOSS.

Appreciate if you could take immediate action for delivering my doc in New York on high priority.

Hi,
I live in Sydney (Australia).My parents sent me a registered parcel from Patna (shastri nagar p.o.800023)Indi.The parcel was sent after enquiring everything whether the service works or not.

Parcel consisted of three dresses. When received, one set of dress was missing. Missing items are a pair of pant and shirt(brand Blackberry). Value of missing content is Rs 3090.00. Instead was stuffed with junk magazines.
This is really disgusting as it shows the carelessness with which our government services work.

I request the incharge authority to take action against this.

i had availed loan against pledge of my nsc having no 908762, 308424, 308425&308426 of face value of rs 5000/, rs10000/, rs10000/ &rs10000/ respectively whose maturity date was 19.11.2011.the post master denied to pay the maturity amount to my banker(OBC BANK,LILON) when their staff come there to collect the amount on due date.the postmater misbehaved the bank staff & warned the bank staff to pay the same only on receipt the authority letter on registered post.and again asked the concerned staff the maturity money will take atleast a month after getting nod from m.nagar head post office.
is there any interest paid to me on & after my maturity value & who will bear the interest amount after my due date in bank?neither bank nor postoffice has given me due date notice?you are requested to do needful at the earliest & took suitable action on erring staff so that faith on buisiness institution like post office will be restored.

I have two senior citizen saving account nos 335425 and 335660 in sector 34 post office in Chandigarh. The tax deducted on the interest from these accounts is not being reflected in the form 26 AS of the tax information network for the current financial year 2011-12. The General Post Office Chandigarh is responsible for not doing the same. This will result in non issue of an authentic form 16A and non reconcilation of the tax details by the income tax authorities.

Inappropriate way of Delivery of Posts
Respected Sir/Madam,

This is being written with a high level of dissatisfaction towards the Indian Postal Service at my area (Raheja Garden, Nr Wagale Estate Post Office, Thane(W[protected]. I the undersigned is a C.A. and LL.B. and a Court Reciever. I have been noticing for a long time that the posts that I'm getting are always with the in-appropriate way.

Regarding the receiving of my letters, etc. I have observed that inspite of having the post office adjacent to my society still I am facing the following problems:

(1) My letters are delivered to me very late.
(2) Often this letters are accumulated and then all the letters of 8-10 days are delivered at a time.
(3) Further this letters, etc. are delivered to me without the affixing the stamp of date of dispatch of letter and date of delivering of the letter.
(4) I am a Chartered Accountant as well as Court Reciever so at times I have to receive various important notices, judgements, articles, journals and various other correspondences in time which I do not receive in time due to your above modus operandi of not to deliver the letter daily and accumulate it and deliver it after 10 days.

No matter how important and confidential documents it carries but it is always coming very late, without date stamp on the envelope. I'm kind of really worried regarding this issue rather threat. You will be surprised to know that the bills o[censored]tiity services like telephone, electricity, gas connection, etc. have been received very late, sometimes even after the due date.

The postman serving in our area is so careless with the dropping of posts that he doesn't bother to put the mail in the space specially provided for the same. Lot many times I've found the bills of other flats and other wings are lying in my mail box. In our society we have a dedicated mail box on the ground floor bearing the flat number but never got the accurate mails into it. I'm even scared to advise the postman regarding the same as he may do anything with the mails I would be getting in future. This should really be communicated as this gets really frustrating at times. I'm hoping that this would reach to the appropriate authorities for the corrective actions. i have got proof of the entire this improper things which would be shown when called for.

Summary:
1. Postal mails are not coming through safe hands as the envelopes are, most of the times being droped in wrong mail boxes.
2. Postman is very careless while dropping the mail and doesn't bother to ensure the appropriate delivery.
3. Posts are often accumulated and delivered very late irrespective of the fact that it contains the utiliy bills having stipulated due dates beyond which it attracts dis-connection.

I have already wrote a letter to the Post Master in this regard but he has also not taken concrete steps uptill now to improve the postal services in our area.

Please please look into this!!!

I beg your pardon please for disturbing your good self for redressal of my grievances. Facts of the case are submitted as under for your kind consideration:-
It was on 16.09.2011, that I sent a Regd Parcel No.144 of Sub Post Office, Anwarganj, Kanpur containing certain gift items for my younger brother keeping in view the leading time to ensure that the gifts are received by my brother before Dushera. What to say of Dushera, the Regd Parcel could not reach to my brother and all festivals passed on one by one. The Regd Parcel has not received till date.

On 11.10.2011, I have already requested the Post Master to inform me the whereabouts of the Regd Parcel. The request letter was received by hand and the receipt of the request letter dated 11.10.2011 was acknowledged by the Sub Post Master himsel[censored]nder his office seal and dated initial. But till date, I have not received any reply or response from the Sub Post Master so far.

It was on 14.10.2011 that I have sent by hand similar request letter to SSPO Kanpur Nagar. The same was also received under rubber seal of his office and an dated initial. Sorry to state, Madam, reply to this request is still awaited.

It was on 19.10.2011 that I sent matching request letter by Speed Post to Shri Ram Bharosa, IPS, PMG Kanpur. Again I regret that the reply from Shri Ram Bharosa jee is also still awaited.

On 19.10.2011 itself, I sent an application by Speed Post under RTI Act enclosing IPO No.9 4E 481653 for Rs.Ten only requesting for relevant items of information including where abouts of the Regd Parcel. My application under RTI Act was acted upon on 21.10.2011 vide letter No.RTI Act-05/347/11-12, dated 21.10.2011 of SSPO Kanpur Nagar Mandal, Kanpur by sending my application to SPO, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh for rendering suitable reply by furnishing information sought in my application dated 19.10.2011.

I received a reply from Senior Post Master, Head Post Office, Azamgarh vide their letter No.B/RTI Act-2005/11-12, dated 05.11.2011 informing me that the Regd Parcel No.144, dated 16.09.2011 was not received by them and also that the same was also not received in Sub Post Office, Heerapatti, Azamgarh.

Again I received a letter from SPO Azamgarh Mandal, Azamgarh bearing letter No.RTI/100/2011, Dated 15.11.2011 stating that the Regd Parcel has not been received in Azamagarh Head Post Office for distribution and also; if I am not satisfied with their reply under RTI Act, 2005 I may make an appeal to Appellate Authority Gorakhpur Region Gorakhpur. However, they have not mentioned address/Fax number/ e-mail id etc of the Appellate Authority which should have been done under RTI Act, 2005. Further, I am not satisfied with the reply received from above PIO as I have not been provided the informations sought for in my application.

Respected Madam, now point at issue to which I am more concerned is that I the Regd Parcel has not been received in Azamgarh Head Post Office/ Sub Post Office for distribution where could it had been sent and whether any other person has received it or not. where is the Regd Parcel is kept if it has not been received by any other person. I don't how could I be compensated for the loss of money, loss of articles and psychic problems all over.

Before I make another application under RTI Act, 2005 for seeking further information as regards Customer Care, Post Forum, Dak Adalat, Public Grievance System and Compensation etc , I would like to request your kind honour to be kind enough to intervene into the matter personally by issuing suitable instructions to Shri Kulbir Singh, IPS PMG Gorakhpur Region, Gorakhpur; Shri Chandra Prakash, IPS Director Postal Services, Kanpur; Shri Bahadur Singh IPS Director Postal Services, Gorakhpur etc as your good self may find appropriate and to arrange distribution of the Regd Parcel by locating it otherwise compensate me for the losses.
I shall be personally obliged of your good self if my grievance is redressed with your result oriented intervention.
