Sir, i saw a scooty 125honda activate in olx calcutta which is belongs to manjit singh of indian army. I talked with him, he said that he will send scooty by army transportation and said you have to deposit money for transportation. I deposited money for transportation by pay tm to mr. Manohar account which was duplicate id of indian army transportation i was little bit delay to know about this fraud id after all i stopped the further process. So kindly solve this problem. सादर प्रणाम के साथ सूचित करता हु की मे उपरोक्त पते पर रहता हु और दिनांक 21/-7/2020 शाम करीबन 8 बजे के आसपास मे क्विकर अहमदाबाद से ऑनलाइन सेकंड यानि पुरानी चीज़वस्तु की जानकारी ले रहा था जिसमे मे ने एक वोल्टास एसी का विगयापन देखा जो 11999/- राशि का था जिस के लिए मे ने चेट करके एसी की डीटेल पूछा तब मोबाइल नंबर [protected] से संदीप कुमार नाम से फोन आया था और एसी की फ़ाइनल कीमत 11000/- तय किया और बोला की आप 1100/- यानि 10 % पेसा एडवांस देना हे बाकी एसी आने पर देना हे इस तरह बात होने पर हमने 22/07/2020 को सुबह 1100/- ट्रान्सफर किया बाद मे 2 बजे के आसपास फोन आया की आपको और 3150/- ट्रान्सफर करना होगा तब ही डिलिवरी होगा तब हमने 3150/ ट्रान्सफर किया तब थोड़ी देर मे वापस फोन आया की आप ने एक साथ मे पेसा ट्रान्सफर किया हे आप को 3100/ और 50/- अलग अलग ट्रान्सफर करना हे तब हमने वापस 3100/- और 50/- यानि 3150/- ट्रान्सफर किया तब आधे घंटे के बाद फोन आया की आप बाकी पेसा भेज दो तब ही एसी यहा से निकलेगा तब हमने बाकी 3600/- भी भेजा तब थोड़ी देर मे वापस फोन आया और बोला की ज्यादा ट्रांसजेकसन होने से आपको 4200/- और देना होगा तब ही एसी आपको मिलेगा तब हमको मालूम हो गया की हमसे धोखा हो गया हे सो उसी वक्त संदीप कुमार को हमने बोल दिया की अब मेरे पास एक भी पेसा नहीं आपको एसी देना हो तो देवे या फिर हमको पेसा वापस करे अन्यथा हम कल शाम तक यानि आज शाम तक इंतजार किया लेकिन अभी तक किसी भी प्रकार का कुछ पेसा और समान नहीं मिला हे सो आप जो हमको सीआरपीएफ़ का जवान कह के धोखा किया हे उसके पर सख्त से सख्त कारवाई करे जिसे आगे कोई सीआरपीएफ़ का नाम बदनाम न करे इस के साथ सीआरपीएफ़ द्वारा इसयू किया हुवा आइ कार्ड भी सामील किया हे

Online fraud through Paytm showing IDs of Army personnel

I have been cheated Rs. 4950 in three instalments (2500 + 2100 + 350) on 18.07.2020 through online Paytm by a group who impersonated as men from army posted at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

I had put an advertisement in Facebook marketplace to sell my household old furniture and appliances. On 18th July morning at Facebook chat one man took my phone no. to contact. After sometime another man rang me and said he is interested to buy the air cooler. He said he is from army and is posted at Indira Gandhi International Airport. He will make payment (Rs.2500) after going to his office and his assistant will come to my place to take the air cooler. After sometime he rang me on Whatsapp and said his colleague will make the payment, as they are from army they have to make payment online to my bank account through Paytm.

I generally use my debit card for online purchases and am not very conversant with transaction in bank account through Paytm. My Paytm account also was not connected with my bank account. So I was confused. They guided me through Whatsapp to connect my bank account with my Paytm. They sent me QR code in Whatsapp for payment of Rs.2500 to me and told me to scan it with Paytm and put PIN, and they will put their PIN from their side to make the payment to my account. I was totally confused and did the same. I checked my bank account and noted that instead of crediting the money it has been deducted from my account. I told them this and they said probably there is some mistake in the machine and are sending a QR code again. This time they sent QR code for Rs.2100 and again Rs.350. In a state o[censored]tter confusion from my side I made same mistake again for second and third time. I argued with them and to convince me and gain my trust they sent me a PAN Card as ID proof. The PAN card was of Mr. Sahil Kumar, S/o Ashok Kumar, DOB 04/11/1994, PAN GIOPK4082C. This may be fake or stolen ID. After long conversation and arguments they said the Paytm is locked now and told me to open GooglePay in the same way and sent QR codes for GooglePay. I somehow understood their trick and said Googlepay is not working. They said they will make payment of Rs.2500 and refund the total money of Rs.4950 the next day.

Two phone numbers were used by them during the conversations and arguments through Whatsapp, [protected] and [protected]. On first day three persons spoke during the conversation, when I asked for name of each person they told three names, Sahil Kumar, Arjun Singh and Amit Chand. The payments had gone to two Paytm accounts in the name of Rajpati Rajbhar (Rs.2500 and Rs.2100) and Arjum Singh (Rs.350). They deleted the QR codes quickly and I could not take screen shots of the QR codes. But I could save the PAN card of Sahil Kumar.

They again rang me next day on 19.07.2020 and said they will refund the money. By this time I was clear about the fraud and argued with them about their identity. They tried to convince me saying that they are men from the army and army men cannot be cheat. When I tried to make video call they disconnected immediately saying video call is not permitted in army premises. I insisted and after some time the person named Amit Chand made video call for a very short time. I could take screen shot of the man this time.

To convince me about their identity they sent me Canteen Smart card, PAN card and Aadhaar Card of one Anand Kumar Singh and CISF ID card of constable Amit Chand which is clearly a fake. They sent QR Codes to make payment. This time I saw the payment was going to the account of one Ritika. I did not agree and told them to make the payment directly to my Paytm wallet which they did not do. This time I could take screen shots of the QR codes and the ID cards before they finally could delete them. They finally angrily said I will not get back the money.

I believe probably some fraudsters have faked or stolen the ID proofs of army personnel and are cheating unsuspecting common people through online payment portals in the name of the army. They have probably hacked the payment platforms and got the capability of generating fraudulent QR codes that is able to transfer money through Paytm.

It is really alarming situation and needs thorough investigation to nab the fraudsters.

I respect a lot to our indian army, and had never thought that i ll write such type of complain regarding fraud from army people.. They may not be army people but they r using the name and cheating many people. Due to which the name and fame to indian army is destroying.
Yesterday a person from indian army called me for staying at our building for rent. He said that he had transfered from uttrakhand to bhubaneswar. So he need a house to stay with his family.
He send me a google pay qr code for scanning. From my acc money has been transferred.. He said that he ll go to bank today and send the money.. But his phone is switch off today. I tried to reach him but i can't.
Amount of rs 47, 000 has been deducted from my father's acc and my friends acc..
So i request u to stop this fraud call coming on name of army members. Many people were cheated.
I don't think i ll get my money back. But still their is a hope that indian army will never give up and will try to solve this problem.

Some people doing fraud by advertising on olx and then asked to do the 50% payment to start the courier service through indian army transport pacel department. He has also shared some fake id's of an army man withhis photograph. I trusted them being an army man and not thought of any kind of fraud and do the payment. I am also sharing there detail with the documents which they shared with me. I know my money has gone now. But request y0u to find those guys so than other innocent people could not be hunted by such person by using the name of an army man. I'm also sharing there contact no. And those nos. Are still active. 1. Omveer singh, contact no. [protected]. This same no. Is also use for money transfer through paytm account. Another one transport guy named vikas patel, no. [protected] anf jaikishan whose documents i shared as follows. Jaikishan's no. [protected]. Please do something to trace these guys so that innocent people can be saved from such fraudy guys. Hello i saw a add on olx for olx by person name ajay kumar he give his contact number.
After having chat he says he is from indian army and provide the bilke details pics, rc of bike, his adhar card and canteen card details.
After that he insisted me to pay 2000 for army parcel and postman will deliver it to my current location.

After making me lot of convince in name of indian army and soldiers.
I payed him 2000 as the requested account is also saying army transport.

After that he said it will deliver by evening. At evening the he told it is a fraud thanks for your cooperation and disconnected

I got retired on 31th may 2008, i got honorary rank of nb/sub on 15 aug 2008 and still i am not getting acp1 pension and arrears.

Sir i want to buy bullet as i searched on olx i got that i can afford. Seller said he id an army person want to sell his bullet urgently but he cheated us as he sent fraud id and we have sent 8000 on phone pay.. Now he nither send the bullet nor money.

I hv seen a Advertisement in OLX stating Bolero is for Sale for Rs. 1.10 Lacs. His name he said Ramesha n spoke to me in Hindi. He has send me the photos of Bolero and his I'd and his Army Uniform photos. He told he is gtg transfer to Jammu. Also told me to pay 5, 100/- to Army Post Office Google pay No.[protected]. Then I got doubt and checked n found it to b a fraud. He was speaking to me from the Mobile No. [protected]. Pls take legal action on these frauds.

Also they not gave us the vehicle. Remaining balance tranporter gives he told but the money didn't gave . But the tranporter didn't deliver the vehicle. He is asking me still more money. ₹13120.

Today i am searching for bike on olx and find a white colour activa available for 11k and person is defining himself as military serving man and share me a ticket that he is parceling the scooty at my address and asking for 2500 rupess transport fees. He share ticket as well. But i believe it a totally fraud as the ticket he share as lot of editing from ticket numeber to name and contact number kindly check the details and caught him. I doubt he is not an army man

I reviewed samsung ac from olx. The product actual rate was 30000 and it was put in 16500, so i decided to get the product. As the army officer mr. Amit kumar got the transfer to other state tomorrow, he is sekking the product urgently. I bargained for 13000 he accepted and he asked me to pay 2000 to army courier service. We clearly stated that only after installation of ac we will pay the rest of the amount, (For checking the condition of the ac). He said ok, he said that he is in mugappair army camp, so he wil despatch the ac to our address by 7pm today.

He called us to recheck the courier details, name, address, phone number extra. We called him and said that thd details are right. After making the paymebt of rs.2000 he said that the ac installation can be made only after we give half the amount to army courier service. The manager from army courier office insisted to pay half to him. This statement was not given by him when we talk about the mode of payment.

We were not intrested in his speech so i decided to get back the money from him. We called him back for refunding the money no response from him.. I texted him, he said the money is given for army fund.. Till now no response from him which is so scaring us during this lock down. He was not clear in his speech, sonwe asked for refund till now no response from him qbout the refund..
I request the higher official to look after this matter. Since he is in army we were intrested to get from him.
This act is disgusting. Please look thru this matter.

Dear indian army,

As i seen a post regarding activa 5g sale in facebook i called the owner he deal a amount of 20000 after he said that vehicle is in indian army transportation to visit we have to pay initial amount 3000 after some discussion i pay amount of 1000 in google pay. After he send some gate pass of indian army transportation. After that he was again asking that amount of 2000 which i couldn't pay finally i said i don't want that vehicle and refund my 1000 rs he was asking paytm username and password since two days and not yet refund the amount still. So i decided to complaint.

Please fine the attachment of vehicle details rc book and google pay screenshots.

Kindly take action on this because he is cheating with name of indian army.
