Dear IRCTC Customer Care,
I travelled from Chennai to Salem on 30th July and had pre-booked vegetarian food through your catering service. The meal served included idly and vada.
Unfortunately, both items were of extremely poor quality:
The vada was spoiled, had a foul smell, and tasted rotten. I felt nauseated after just one bite.
The idly was hard and inedible, seemingly made from old batter or previously cooked and reheated.
Additionally, the catering boy (North Indian) was very rude. He was serving only tea, and when I politely requested coffee, he shouted at me and behaved very unprofessionally. His aggression made it impossible to raise a complaint during the journey.
I also called the GM Quality Control number – +91-[protected] mentioned on the food packet multiple times, but there was no response.
I request strict action regarding:
Spoiled and unhygienic food served
Rude behavior by catering staff
No response from the Quality Control helpline
Please treat this complaint seriously and update me on the action taken.
