I am suffering from this problem for more than a year. My meter No. on BP [protected], is incorrect in IGL records. They have been sending me Bills without meter reading, and now the amount is as high as Rs 2000+.
There is a lot of mental pressure around disconnection as they are sending bills of arbitrary amount without meter reading and I am being told your bill is wrong and will be revised after Meter No. update, but it has not being happening for over a year, and I am under stress.
Though since I have been using this connect for nearly 2 years (almost 1.8 yrs), total reading stands on my meter as 107.xxx, I have already paid more than Rs.. 2500 of bill without start-end reading on bill. I have made so many complaints for "Meter No. update" but nothing has worked. I am being harassed for over a year now.
Everytime a new Bills comes, I have to repeat this harassment cycle. Engineer visit has happened multiple times but issue never resolved. When I started IGL cost was (i think) Rs 26-28 per cbm, and now it is Rs. 34, I see more harassement from IGL as total reading keeps on accumulating and Gas prices are increasing.
I am looking for compensation from IGL for such a torture.
