Instagram — privacy breach | |
Instagram some how is observing my personal details, browser history, device info, educational details, interested areas or such things and showing ads related to it. When i have purchased a new phone, instagram regularly showed ads about accessories of the same phone. After a job search through my browser (Google chrome), instagram showed ads about the same type of jobs. Last day, i had a discussion with my friend about an institution while scrolling through my instagram account. Then i searched about that institution in my browser but with a wrong name. I couldn't find the institution in my browser. But even when i logged back into my instagram accout, it showed the ad about same company (Skill lync)... Your data has been sold to the corporates and there will track your phone for data what you want and what you are looking for and then ads will come to your phone. The main culprit is Facebook. You can off the ads in settings. These types of social media misleading people's data. For this central government of India banned some of the Applications in India like Tik Tok, pubg and etc..,
