[Resolved]  Reliance Life Insurance — Cancellation of Life Insurance Policy having policy No (Contract Number[protected], Client ID[protected] as a result of fraud

Respected Sir / Ma’am,

I have registered a complaint in regard to my subscription to Reliance Life Insurance Policy “Guaranteed money back plan”.

However, I am not convinced with the feedback provided to me. I have been misguided in regard to the authenticity of the policy by the sales person which lead to delay in filing my complaint. Also, they have closed my case without considering my views SRN No. i.e. [protected]/1 dated 6th Sep’13, [protected]/1 dated 21st Sep’13 & [protected]/2 dated 24th Sep'13

I agree that complaint has been initiated by me after the free look period of 15 days from receipt of policy documents because sales guy (Mr. Karan Chaudhary, Ashish Aggarwal & Jagadeesh Wadhva) misguided me on the policy condition as mentioned in my earlier mail. However, I am again mentioning these points in this mail to make my case crystal clear.

Before PLVC (Pre Login verification call) Mr karan Chaudhary has misguided me and said me that a call from Reliance verification department will come to you for the verification purpose and don’t tell him the below mentioned benefits. If you tell below mention benefits then you will not receive these benefits. All benefits would be given to you under my (Karan Chaudhary) code.

Could you please investigate all the calls that were made to me in this regard as I have witnessed a similar case by Mr. Sunil (His contact Number is [protected] and his Policy Number is Policy No. – 50462842 &[protected] who has also cheated by Mr. Karan Chaudhary & Ashish Aggarwal with same plan which offered to me.

Further, he also Said to me that Policy documents with a photocopy of the application form was dispatched to me on 02/08/2013 through (Speed post airway bill (AWB) number EQ[protected]IN) is only for the cross checking of information like insured Name, Address, Nominee Name & D.O.B etc…. and final bond paper on pink paper will reach to you after 10 days with mentioning all benefits as mentioned below.

1.Maturity amount of Rs.235538/- can be withdrawn in the 6th year.
2. Gift voucher (Petrol Card) worth Rs.54000/-would be given within 10-45 days of policy issuance.
3. 80% of the commission related to the first Premium would be reversed.
4. Medical Cashless card related to four family members for medical cover of Rs. 230000/-.
5. On payment of additional premium of Rs.523/- my father who is heart patient would also be covered after 3 months of issuance of policy.
6. Audio tape of the conversation took place regarding the offers/benefits related to the policy
7. Bond papers (On pink Paper) assuring the offers/commitment/benefits/other terms and conditions of the policy within 10-15 days of issuance of policy Documents.
8. Policy can be cancelled within 6 months if not satisfied the term & Conditions mention in Policy bond.

On hearing these benefits from Mr. Karan Chaudhary, I agreed to take the policy and handed over a Cheque of Rs. 30, 523/- Dated[protected] to reliance’s collection executive and signed the application form no. D6301523. Which I submitted along with my address proof (Mobile Bill, Central Bank Passbook & Driving License), ID proof (Pan Card), 2 Photograph, One Cancelled Cheque and one 1st Premium Cheque of Rs. 30523/-. Then after, I received one policy document Dt.[protected] and when I opened it, I was completely shocked, as the benefits mentioned in the policy document were completely different as mentioned by Mr. Karan Chaudhary/Ashish Aggarwal when he offered me the plan.

After this, when I contacted Mr. Karan Chowdary/Ashish Aggarwal, he told me that the policy document which I have received is a common welcome kit and within 20 to 25 days I will receive a bond mentioning all the benefits which he narrated to me while offering me the plan.
After all this, I waited for 25 days in order to receive the bond but I did not receive any bond then in order to cross check the words of Mr. Karan Chowdary/Ashish Aggarwal, I called Reliance Customer care and they told me that Reliance Life Insurance co. Ltd. does not provide all these benefits, Reliance Life Insurance Guaranteed Money Back Plan worth Rs. 30523/- .

This is clear case of cheating & harassment as the said person is asking me to hand over the satisfaction letter in lieu of bond document in which he says that all the things promised by earlier by him will be mentioned there.
So, it is my utmost request to cancel my policy and take suitable action against the culprits.
It is Humble request to you please cancel my policy and return my 1st premium amount of Rs. 30523/- (Rs.30000/- for policy premium + Rs. 523/- for father medical cover who is heart patient)
