[Resolved]  The Mithra Agencies — delay in submission of premium cheque, due to that lapse of policy

Sir,
My Vehicle (maruthi Alto AP 16 BA 3672) insurance policy was due in September 2012 and I had sent my premium cheque to the the dealers The Mithra Agencies, opp: All India Radio, M G Road, Vijayawada for onward submission to NATMAR for renewal.

I Posted my Andhra Bank Cheque No.00026 dated 28.09.2012 to Mitra Agencies and they received the cheque on 04.10.2012. But they took two months one week i.e on 10.12.2012 to NATMAR. I dont know what happend I received a letter from NATMAR in first week of March 2013 with letter dated 13.02.2013 stating that my policy stands cancelled as my bankers returned my cheque stating Instrument outdated.
And also asking me to return the original policy.

This gross negligence on the part of Mitra Agency and National Insurance Company.

Please redress my compliant at the earliest.
