Irctc — Online Tattkal error: This site is currently unreachable @ 10 am

I am also getting the same error.
Somehow I reached the payment gateway three times but the ticket was never booked but money was deducted. Earlier I could buy tatkal tickets easily. I think there is something fishy in IRCTC.

All Facilities provided by Current Railways is only for Upper class persons not for Middle class, they not think we are also the votor.

We are facing the same issue. Can you please clarify what exactly is causin this issue.. It is highly frustrating. This issue has been going on for a month now and there is no solution for it yet. Is it because of the load or someone is hackin you site.

If you could wait for 3-5 mins or so then you will get book now option available... However, you have to book your tickets really very fast as you get few seats available... Hope this helps!!

This error is never ending :( Looks like we'll never be able to book tatkal tickets on friday and sunday nights anymore :(

am also getting the same error, i have complained to irctc customer care and they informed me to delete the temporary Internet files and cookies which i have done already. Still its same error next day also at 10:00 sharp

Dear IRCTC, For the past 3 days I am trying to book tatkal ticket online and I am getting the same error "This site is currently unreachable. Please try after some time", even though I sharply login into the site at 10:00. On first day I thought it might be some server issue which your technical team will resolve in an hour or so (being crucial issue). But for the continuous 3 days I am getting the same error. I did my research about the same on Internet and found many articles saying "Fraud of IRCTC", "Bribe IRCTC Officers making way for Agents, who were not much into business because of lite version, using which a bonafide consumer was able to book their urgent tickets" etc etc. I demand a clear JUSTIFICATION on this issue. WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS ISSUE AND WHY THIS HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED ? WHO ALL ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS? AND WHY I SHOULD NOT FILE A PROBE AGAINST IT?

Got the same problem today any actions being taken for this?

I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM WHEN I CONTACTED IRCTC THEY SAID ME TO CLEAR HISTORY, CACE, COOKIES ETC. OF WE BROWSER.

Please clear the temporary Internet files and cache of the browser and try logging in using a new browser window to overcome this problem. You can do so with the following path: Tools''Internet options''delete cookies, delete files and delete all off line contents, clear history''click OK. After this please close all the windows and open a new Internet explorer window and then try.

I am also facing same issue regularly..what is wrong with IRCTC people they are promoting agents by themselves.

Getting the same error as soon as it is 10:00 AM. Keeps logging me out as well. Not sure how the designer of the app was dump enough not to make sure he/she counts only the successfully queries before logging you out after you having exceeded the total number of allowed query in one session. All errors and the logged out. Then session expired. Then availability went from 328 Available to 111 waiting.

What is funny is that I know some agents who promise to get me the tickets (at a much higher rate of course) . So, I smell something fishy here.

i mean, m trying since last 2 weeks, n this keep on coming on my screen untill tatkal quota gets over...NOW Today i will go to AGENT for booking the ticket. M sure he will charge Rs.400-600 (totally depending upon him) per person which is the same rate what INDIAN RAILWAY is charging for the FULL JOURNEY PER PERSON including TATKAL charges for SLEEPER

I think INDIAN RAILWAY want us to go to AGENTS, They r just trying to eliminate AGENTS on paper and not in reality

This error is coming only for some trains some trains this error not coming. It is sure that it is done by some one or railway or agent block the train so that only they can make tatkal

What the heck

This site is hacked during the Tatkal by IRCTC officials during the tatkal period, as in the mean time server hanged and all tickets were booked, if the server is hanged then how the tickets get booked. Try to make it faster as everyone is paying for the same and customer who are poor are getting suffered from this as the agents are trying make fool of poor peoples who have no other options except paying extra money.

yeah the same error i also face 1 day back ..so today what i did is i logined at 9 : 58 and i clicked book now at exact 10 :00 am it shows the same error and after that i clicked to general seat availability and the after 1 minute i clicked at tatkal seat and clicked on book now..then it started showing nos of seats available and then i cutted the ticket and at 10 :05 my ticket was cut and it was confirmed too..!!..i tried this small trick and was i was successful... u also try ...and hopefully u will also be successfull ...good luck (y)

This is what you call service. If the common man gets this kind of service after shelling out so much money, then be rest assured India won't shine in the next one thousand years. Period.
