I booked two tickets to Kochi from Goa and to Bangalore from Goa via IXIGO. We are 9 friends traveling for Holiday. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel both the tickets. I went to Air Asia website and cancelled the ticket with PNR number. They issued a refund of Rs 6430. They had already charged the cancellation and convenience fee. In IXIGO APP, when I tried to cancel the tickets the refund amount has been reduced to Rs 2800. One of their customer service said, I would receive what the airline has refunded which should Rs 6430. But after sometime he changed his stance and said again cancellation and convenience fee would be charged on this Rs 6430, which I feel is totally unacceptable. I would want the company to refund the entire Rs 6430 for the ticket to Kochi and Rs 1794 for the ticket to Bangalore. If the company says that it is company policy then you need to honour your customer services handlers word and refund me the amount.
