My name is Nippuleti Aiswarya. I have booked an indigo airline ticket from your website dated 22 Jan 2022(PNR HHYCCY), from Hyderabad to Guwahati.
I rescheduled the flight to 29 April 2022 before 72 hours as per indigo guidelines which state that rescheduling fee will be waived off if rescheduled 72 hours before flight date. (Booking id: IF[protected] and flight number: 6E6294-6E5031)
I got a confirmation call from the team who demanded extra 3000/- as rescheduling fee even though I raised a reschedule request and already paid my additional flight fare before 78 hours 45 mins before my flight due date.
I stated my rights that since I have placed a rescheduling before the 72 hour window, I wouldn't and shouldn't have to pay the extra rescheduling fee. And that Ixigo was in the wrong to lazily call 16 hours after I rescheduled for confirmation, and on top of that to unfairly add the 3000/- rescheduling charge.
Your support operator took that to mean that I want to cancel my rescheduling date and continue with my current booking. And promptly rejected my rescheduled booking.
I have attached screenshots which prove I have followed indigo airline guidelines and have tried to reschedule before 72 hours of the booking date.
This is sheer negligence and irresponsibility on behalf of your team. They subjected me to such a predicament. I either expect the full flight fare refund or a reschedule to my desired date and flight.
