Flipkart / Jeeves Support Team,
I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator via Flipkart along with an Extended Warranty provided by Jeeves (Order id - OD[protected].in June 2024 (around 20th–24th), I raised a complaint due to a technical issue in the refrigerator.
A technician from Jeeves visited after 8–9 days, inspected the issue, and left without resolving it. No further follow-up was done for the next 10 days, and when I contacted your support again, I was told the required parts were unavailable.
Later, Jeeves offered to buy back the refrigerator for ₹17, 500, which I refused, as I had paid for the extended warranty and expected a full repair or fair compensation. I proposed a revised amount of ₹22, 500, but your team insisted on the ₹17, 500 offer and even sent a technician to collect the product without agreement. I declined, stating I was still negotiating with the support team.
During this time, my extended warranty expired, without any repair or resolution provided by your side. Now when I contact your support, I am told that my warranty has expired and no further service can be offered — which is highly unfair, as my original complaint was registered well before the expiry date.
(You cannot close the complaint without providing the service and that too without asking me)
As per consumer protection act
it is clearly stated that if a complaint is made during the warranty period and even after the warranty expires, the service is not provided or the problem is not resolved, then that product will be considered to be under warranty. — My Demands:
1. Reopen my original complaint immediately
2. Either repair/replace my refrigerator at no cost
3. Or compensate me fairly with at least ₹30000
4. Also compensate for the mental harassment and time lost during this period
If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution within 7 working days, I will:
File a formal complaint on E-Daakhil (consumer court online portal)
Share my experience publicly on social media
Report this to the Consumer Affairs Ministry and other relevant authorities
I hope your team will act responsibly and resolve this without further escalation.
