I am still waiting for my refund. I have sent multiple mails to Karvy but I haven't really heard back from them or no refund has been credited to my bank account.I would request you to help me in this regards. Pratik Desai

My father firmly believes that you guys can help me out. I had applied for Reliance Power IPO in January 2008. I wasn't allotted any shares and hence was supposed to get a refund of my money from Karvy. It's June 2009 now and I am still awaiting the refund for my money from Karvy. I have emailed them on a lot of occasions and always get the same reply that it's under process and I would get the refund soon. Refer to the chain of emails exchanged below.

I am really tired of following it up with Karvy and am not able to see light at the end of the tunnel. I would really appreciate if you may help in this regard.

INSTEAD OF MY REPEATED REMINDER YOU ARE NOT STOPPING TO SEND ME THE SMS REGARDING TIPS ON BUYING STOCKS

Karvy is the worst managed company. Particularly the one in Hyderabad. If you send letters they usually don't receive! By chance if they get it they process it in snail phase. You can't get them on phone unless you are ready to try several times and several minutes on hold. Customer complaints are ignored.

CAMS in Chennai is thousand times better. Excellent service. Don't buy mutual funds serviced by Karvy.

1. i applied for mutual fund of Rs. 20000 through D-Mat & the filled up form was personally handed over to sh. Vivek Willium, employee of Karvy Bilaspur Office in the 1st week of December'2010 with the promise that receipt will be available to me within a week. It is regretted to point out till today (28.01.11), this has not been available, despite reminder to him about dozen times. no credit has also been shown in the LATEST STATEMENT. Action taken against Sh. Willium be communicated at my email [protected]@gmail.com

2. i also opened account for on line trading but mr willium is not coming to me for teaching me for on line trading, despite his promise at the opening of account. feed back be given at [protected]@gmail.com

I have been experiencing a worst service from Karvy. I had applied for Oil India IPO (application number:[protected] and i have neither got any refund nor the allotment. It is already more than a month now. The reasons they have given are utter waste and i am planning to lodge a complaint against them with SEBI very soon.

Initially, when asked they said they have already sent a cheque, but we went to Post office to inquire about the same and realized that the article number they quoted (and said they have sent thru registered post) was not at all there in the post office records.

Further escalations revealed that there is a technical problem because of which there is an amount mismatch and they need more time to resolve the same.
My concerns:
- first because of their technical problem, i didnt get the allotment -- so its a loss for me
- second, there is a delay in refund and i am not sure now, whether i will get my money back or not.

I have called up their Hyderabad office today and have told them that if they dont revert to me with the proper information by EOD today, I am going to lodge a complaint with SEBI. But they seem to be very careless and not bothered at all.

SEBI should have proper guidelines and should penalize for bad service they are known for.

Karvy computershare Pvt. Ltd — Power Grid Corporation IPO: Non receipt of refund

Dear Sir,

I had applied for 250 shares against the above IPO and was alloted 125 shares thru Karvy Demat. A sum of Rs.6500/- which is due to me has still not been refunded despite 4 months having crossed since I received the ECS confirmation stating that refund would happen by 5th October 2007. Despite umpteen follow ups and exchange of letters & mails and also having submitted my banks certificate and pass book copy which clearly state that amount has not been credited Karvy refuses to resolve the issue and issue me a refund cheque. It has now again asked my bank, thru me, to confirm whether the sum is lying in its suspense account.

powergrid — Non-delivery of the consignments

We have sent important documents to the District Collector, Valsad, Gujarat from POWERGRID, Nagpur, Maharashtra, through Speed Post vide following consignment numbers:

As per the information received from the Collector's Office, the above consignments have not reached their Office till date.

We tried to track through the web site of the Speed Post. However, the site is not maintained properly resulting into incorrect or no information abou the consignments. Kindly track the above consignments immediately and inform the status at an early date as the documents sent are very important.

powergrid — non receipt of money during ATM Transaction

I working in Powergrid Rourkela. When i went on leave to my native I went to a SBI ATM on 14 th March 2009 near Gokulpeth, Nagpur, in order to withdraw a sum of Rs.4000.00 The screen showed that the transaction was timed out and I didn't get any receipt. After few minuts checking my account balance through net banking I found out that the transaction was actually processed and Rs.4000.00/- had been debited from my account without my knowledge.
On 16-03-09 when I came back to Rourkela I registerd a complaint in prescribed format to SBI Branch Manager, Shakti nagar Sect-1 Rourkela -10. and it is assured by the manager the the money will be credited to your account within one month.
However Four months have been passed and no money been credited to my account so far due to which facing financial problems.
Again in month i visited to SBI Branch Manager, Shakti nagar Sect-1 Rourkela -10.and same assurence been given by the manager
"! When I asked him that if it happens again with a bigger amount, then ? He laughed at me and said that in that case anything can happen.This is the behaviour of these SBI officers. They don't treat the customers in the proper way. Sir due to thinking for closing my account..
pl. do the needful for the matter at the earliest.

powergrid — Credit card surrendered but balance showing

I had to leave the country for higher studies.Accordingly as master card was not useful as compared to visa card, I promptly cleared all the balance payments on the credit card no.[protected] at one go. I spoke on telephone to one Mr Raju on ph no..[protected] on 18th sept 2009, after clearing the balance, and requested him to close my credit card after he confirmed that he has closed the card vide conversation and request no. 455979/E01. He also confirmed that I have paid an excess amount of Rs 105?= or some thing like that. Also I had accrued some points, which later they said was not usable as it is a meagre amount. I therfore destroyed the above credit card.
Now to our surprise we have again got a bill for Rs 442/= last mont and agin this month the bill statement is showing a balance of rs 690/=. I think it is growing, despite my wife calling up the above no. on my behalf to highlight the issue they used to say that the concerned person is not available.
I therefore request you to kindly look into the issue and close the matter. It doesnt add to my peace of mind. it is causing bitterness that despite my being prompt and right legally, i am being penalised for some 'ommissions and commissions' on the part of Standard chartered bank staff.
Pl mail me the action taken. It may kindly be settled and save me from this harassment, if I do not hear, within a week on this, i shall have to resort to other help.

remitting bank so that they can trace the transaction but u are not
prvide me the UTR No. It is important to note that without UTR No.it
is very difficult to trace the entry

This is the long time issue....please have a look and sort it out.....since

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your kind notice that I have bought three Dish TV connections i.e. 01 Parent (VC # [protected] in the name of Mr. Chander Prakash) and 02 Child connection in the month of October 2007 from Ravi Electronics.

When I purchased this connection, there was a scheme for first connection @ Rs. 3,600.00 user will get 6 months subscriptions free and for child connection, charges will be Rs. 3,000.00 per connection without any subscription charges.

Based on the above scheme I bought three connections and I have already paid additional amount of Rs. 1,200.00 as a 6 months advance subscription for both child connections apart from Rs. 6,000.00 (2 x 3,000) i.e. till April 2008, there should not be any due for all three connections (parent and child).

On 16th February 2008, all my three connections were deactivated and on enquiring from the customer care department, I got an answer, the reason for disconnection is non payment. Customer Care Department of Dish TV also agreed that this has happened due to mistake at their end as they have entered the date of February instead of April 2008. As per company record, I have paid Rs. 10,580.00 for all three above mentioned connections against the payment I have made to Ravi Electronics of Rs. 10,800.00, the difference may be the commission of Ravi Electronics.

As per company records and information, I have made / cleared the payments till April 2008 then I don’t know why my connections have been deactivated. Whenever I call customer care the only answer I get from “Fault is from our end and all the connections will be activated within 24 Hours and you will get a call from our CRC department”. From 20th February I am continuously hearing this statement. And after almost 200 Hours I didn’t get any solution from Dish TV. Details of Complaint nos. are as under :

He don’t know how to attend the customer, inspite of me indicating about his attitude, Mr. Marshall advised me to get in contact with Customer Care Department for better services, since, Mr. Marshall can not do much and will not change his attitude for one customer like me.

Records which customer care department is maintaining, is not matching with Mr. Marshall’s record. As per Customer Care I have made the full payment, however as per Mr. Marshall’s record, still I have to make the payments for my three connections.

I have already lodged the complaint in Feedback form of DishTV site but unfortunately I have not received any response from them.

I am writing this mail to you with a high expectations, I have set and I sure and very confident, this issue will be resolved at the earliest.

Moreover, personnel like Mr. Marshall should be taught, how to deal with Customers.

shares matter — Not replying by Secretary of Reliance Power ltd

My father had bought shares of Reliance Power ltd. He died just after 6months of allotment. I am his son and have written many letter to Karvy COnsultancy and Secretary of Reliance Power Ltd. to transfer share on my name as a nominee. BUt to my shock None of the two party has responded yet atleast letting me know what formalities i have to go through. The Amount of shares have been paid fully with interest recently.

Reliance Power IPO — Short Refund

Dear Sir/mam
I had applied 225 shares of reliance power ltd. by paying Rs 96750/- against cheque number 39429 of IDBI bank .I received 16 equity shares worth Rs 6880/- in my demat account and refund amount of Rs 18995/-, it means I got short refund of Rs 70875/- .
I had already mailed many times through karvy and sent courier to karvy computer shares, hyderabad on 17th of april, 2008 by enclosing xerox copies of client master report and statement summary of bank but no response.
Please ensure the early short refund as i am in dire neccesity of money.U r responsible for my PANIC as i am waiting for refund from last 4 months.

hi i m jyoti from hisar i have invest in reliance power ipo Rs 25875 ia have alloted 17 share but till date my share is not credited in my d mat a/c neighter i have received my refund amount . Employee of karvy asked taht we are not able to solve this problem and i m belong to very poor family and my refund balance is 18575.and this amount is wrongly credit in another account .pls help me .my no is [protected].

Sub: Issue fresh refund order.

With ref. to the above, I have received IPO Refund order of Rs. 18, 995/- against application no. 11704154 for Rs. 25, 875/- . In this connection I have received 16 Nos. shares of RPL and balance amount mentioned above received vide demand draft no. 987173 dated 01.02.2008 where in u have mentioned account no.[protected] ICICI Bnak Ltd. But I have no account in ICICI Bank and the validity of the demand draft has expired on 30.04.2008. I have returned the above demand draft on 18th Setptember, 2008 by Registered A.D. But till date I have not received my balance amount . U r requested to sent balance amount alongwith interest immediately. If I will not received the dd within 15 days then I will take legal action against u and Reliance Power Limited.

I am a, applied for 225 @Rs. 430 each under Reliance power & 17 shares are alotted to me & balance payment of Rs. 89440 is not received from KARVY. There are more than 20 e-mails exchage between Karvy & me. first they replied that refund order is sent on 2.2.08 & later they confirmed that Karvy received it undelivered on 27/2/08. again they are saying that Karvy has not received it undelivered.
i am really fed up with Karvy. can anybody help me how to collect my money & how all the user of INDIA can understand that KARVY IS THE BIG CHEATER BUSINESS HOUSE IN THE HISTORY OF WORLD.
Many of my friens are also suffering due to same problem.
i am ready to provide all the e-mails & other details to media, news channels, or courts, or anybody else who can help me & screwing the KARVY that a lesson shold be given to KARVY

Reliance Power IPO — Refund of Money from Reliance power IPO

I have applied for the Reliance power IPO .My application no is 11155491 . I have got allotment of 15 nos of share where as I have applied for 150 share . Now the Remaining amount of 58050 rs I have not yet recieved.

Reliance Power IPO — Reliance Power IPO - Non refund

I have not received the refund back for the refund order no 1000543 of Reliance Power IPO. I have checked with the local post office but couldn't trace any registered post in my name in the last 3 weeks.
Please let me know where is it lying and how and when can I get my money refunded.
