Respected Sirs / Madams,

From core of my heart, I earnestly request your urgent intervention in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Class 1 admission criteria that only allows a child of 6 years instead of 5 years. It may be noted that before the academic year 2022–23, the minimum age of admission for Class 1 in KVS was 5 years as of 31st March 2022. When I tried to apply for admission in Class-I at KVS, I could not register online due to change in the age criteria by the KVS. This new age criteria introduced by the KVS is a huge disappointment to me as the same adversely impacts the education of my child leading to wastage of 1 year.

I believe, you will understand the pain I am going through on behalf of my child as like many children in our country.

Hence, I request you to reinstate the minimum age of admission for Class 1 at KVS as 5 years as the last date for online application is 21st March 2022.

Dear Sir/Madam
I am a Public Sector employee. My job profile involves frequent transfer to different power plants (at erection and commissioning stages).

We fully rely Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools located at power plant sites for our children education.
KVs are the only viable options available due to nature of job profile.

The recent age revision of Class1 students to minimum 6yrs for KVS admission has been a serious set back to us parents who were eagerly waiting for admission of wards. Most of kids seeking admission in to class1 would be less than 6 years of age and would be deprived of this opportunity.

In metros/cities we have many options of schools.
But for small towns where we normally get posted, KV is the only option. Our posting spans entire India and we can not stick to a particular state board.
KV is the only option for quality education for parents like us.
Right now we have no other option but to drop out our kids and waste one precious year.

I was hoping you could postpone the age criteria for couple of years so that parents could plan preschool accordingly.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Jaipur region is forcing it's students for offline examination despite of the fact that education minister of Rajasthan has issued orders for schools in Rajasthan to give students the option of both online and offline exams. Exams for classes 6-8 and 9-11 has already been started from 5 March.

Respected Sir/Madam, . This is regarding the new age limit set for admission to class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas. Earlier it was 5 years. Accordingly we took admission for our children in the nursery. But now the age limit has increased to 6 years. Those children who are already in UKG will have to wait for another one year for them to get admission in KV. In short, they're loosing one year. Kindly reconsider the decision so that the children who are already in UKG and LKG can have their education uninterruptedly.

Dear sir/ madam

Until last year i.e 2021-22, 5 years on or before 31/03/2021 was the eligibility criteria, this change in the age criteria all of a sudden just before the admission to 6 years will make many children ineligible will deny the basic right of a child to get education.
My daughter is completing UKG this year, where are we supposed to join her in for this academic year when the notification comes in the last week of February? is she supposed to wait for a year to get into school? already with COVID, children were at home for two years.

If NEP 2020 is to be implemented, it has to be uniformly done in all the schools not just in KV, and should be done right from anganwadi or KG class when the child enters the school.

My humble request is to please reset the eligibility criteria for this year and introduce this right from Andanwadi onwards across the nation so that no child is denied the right to get education in any school, it also avoids the confusion for most of the parents.
After all every child should get a fair and equal change to get education in the school of their choice.

Respected sir/madam, please excuse that age limit for new admission i.e., 6-8years. This rule is not applicable for 80% students approximately. please change the age criteria sir. my kid turns 6yrs old recently. he is not eligible. What should I do sir?. Please accept my grievance. Till last year i.e 2021-22, age cut off for kv class 1 admission is 5 years on or before 31/03/2021. But all of a sudden this year 2022-23 age cut off for the same is 6 years on or before 31/03/2022.

My daughter going to complete UKG and she is turning 5 years on March 7 th now what shall I do for 2022-23???

2022-23 1st class KV admission not possible and I enquired with kindergarten for readmission in UKG, they are not allowing it due to promotion of LKG students to UKG!!

For my daughter it seems 2022-23 year is a tough phase.

My humble request is please roll back the 6 years age cut off criteria and introduce like last year 5 year age cut off criteria. If you want to implement NEP 2020, please introduce it from pre KG on wards this year across the nation. Then it gives fair and equal justice to large students

Sir I requested here is the age criteria of class 1st is please consider 5.5 to 7 years.
I heard that it's changed to 6to 8. it's too late for starting education ...hoping u will do consider ...

Respected sir I want solution about my ward who was born in 19.04.2016 which is less than 18 days in 6 yrs which is new criteria due to NEP 2020 is there is un justified tha a student who born in 01/04/2016 (April) will be select for 1 st standard but in same month in 19/04/2016 (April) will be not fit for 1 st standard, is there is any parameter that in same month born children will be different learning level.

I am a branch manager at State Bank of India. I was recently transferred on 21.06.2021 to Urapakkam, chennai
Upon my transfer I shifted my residence to mogappair, chennai. I am a single mother and only my mother is available to take care of my son and me.
When a circular was issued for local transfer, I had applied with all required papers at KV, CLRI immediately on
I placed my request at KV, CLRI and also met KV, Anna nagar( transferee branch). I was asked to wait until results are out
Last week, many of my known parents received calls from the KV for completing transfer formalities and shift to new school
I did not receive any call. I checked with both Kv, Anna Nagar and KV, CLRI but no response.
Now i reside 22 km away from my son's school and have not received any update so far
I understand the local transfer formalities are to be completed in stipulated time and in this corona times I cannot send my son that far
I am not sure if the forms were sent - I was not given any acknowledgement
Iam not sure if my application is in consideration or rejected. If rejected, for what reasons and what option i have
Please inform the status of my transfer application, my son needs accomodation in KV near To residence

I have paid Rs.5740.00 today dt. 14/02/2022. kvs fees of my child GOPI KUMAR MAHTO DOB:18.01.2012. Amount is deducted from my bank but showing the payment status "Initiated but not completed". Kindly resolve this issue as refund, Details are attached. Thanks

My child studying in class 8.he is not been vaccinated as he is 13+.I am not willing to send him to school right now.as per government news I want online classes at least for this year ending session.teachers are not going any meeting with parents.if any thing wrong happen with my child I will blame each and everyone of school authority

I made a payment on behalf of Ankush Nagar having Student ID [protected] on 14.01.2022 of Rs.2400 for the Q4 of F.Y.2021-22 but the amount was deducted from my Bank A/c and no receipt generated for the same. I checked on KVS fee payment portal and it showed that the payment was canceled. I waited for 2 working days but the status was showing the same result till now and the amount was not refunded to my account. I contacted my bank and they said that the recipient did not refund the amount so they are unable to do anything about it. I request you to take some quick action against the same.

Sir/madam, I've paid fee for my child, But union Bank of India website is not generating challan . By my side the amount has been debited . I informed this issue in school and they said amount will returned by 3 working days but it's been a long time money has not returned . I kindly request you to return my amount as soon as possible . I hope your will kindly return the money.

I had paid my son's school fee using bill desk via google pay and amount deducted from my account on January 14, 2022 at 9:30 PM. Later I realized that the amount paid not shown in the UBI Portal and I again paid the school fees through net banking on 29/01/2022 which is shown in the portal.
Hence I humbly request you to refund Rs. 1800/-, ie, paid through Google Pay.
