Kotak Mahindra Bank — Harassment and threatening of complaint for credit card settlement

Hi. Shakila here from Chennai. I have been using kotak credit card since 2-3 years. Bcoz of it's services, I decided to got for a settlement and close the card. And asked for settlement since from a year from the collection team, whoever comes directly to complete there monthly incentives. Calls up to pay minimum due and assures for a settlement for that, but never turn back after receiving[protected] as cash. Later, after pandemic..their unethical behavior have made things literally worst. Either they come up directly home without intimation or stand up in the streets and speak loudly saying if I cudnt pay why I m holding a card., When I have already asked abt settlement. And they approach our neighbors asking have we abscond or asking our details and informing our payment due story. Our neighbors are so much disturbed with this, as kotak ppl are visiting them more than my place. And they feel its disturbing their privacy. From last 6 months, the same thing happened, not one person was handling the case, they were multiple ppl visiting every alternative day. Not one was handling the case. They were not following up any code of conduct even called me up till 10-10.30 at night. Threatening to pay immediately or they will come home morning directly or raise a compliant. I have called up many times to customer care and asked for a correct manager with whom I will get resolved. But even they ditched me by giving fake letters from their personal mail IDs.Now recently Mr Vignesh was handling the case, where i have to provide me settlement letter for 27000, to make it one shot settlement, as I really wanted to come out of it once for all. In between another manager sent his executive saying he is handling the case, inspiteeeee of informing about settlement. Now these both managers are following up for the same case. Jan 1st week i informed that to issue by 22nd Jan . They gave me a basic kotak booklet letter without seal. where they have mentioned even if I settle on one shot, they will ask for payment of interest in future and it was not mentioned in that clearly like card will get closed or settled. As per their conversation, they said that card will continue, now what's the point of doing this settlement. When there is no guarantee of settlement on card closure. So I asked for some time to check about this letter., They are rushing up reaching my home in my absence, disturbing my neighbours and enquiring about me when I was on call with them. Speaking loud. They were demanding to pay at least 10k as of now just for their incentive. My concern is Whatever they are saying verbally that they will zerodised the statement or this is final settlement after payment. But they are not ready to mail this from official ID. Then how it is guarantee for the settlement. I m ready to even pay today and close. But they change their words every time to get money not to resolve the issue. If I say some thing they are like I have to abide whatever they say or else they will scream near my house and asking me to come police station to book a case against me. What kind of behavior is this. Why code of conduct is mentioned when it is not being followed by their employees. They are not letting me to cross check the settlement process n I feel that they are doing mental harassment and being cheated or blackmailed. No body from kotak was a genuine person to resolve this issue. I have all the proofs related to all this. Let's see what steps are taken after this .mail I'd [protected]@gmail.com
