[Resolved] Kutchina / Bajoria Appliances — Kutchina HOB - HB 3BG DLX | |||||
I bought the HoB from Shop - Mom Magic, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on 22/April/2015(attached). It worked fine for 7~8 Months, then onwards the flame became weaker and weaker. Thereafter, the burner did not have flames from some parts. So we informed the shop, and they said that it is a gas piping topic. We informed the LPG distributor then he send his person to inspect (11/Feb/2016). Although, they mentioned there is no issues with the LPG, they still changed the pipe, clip and cleaned the LPG valves. Nonetheless, we saw no improvements and we informed the store. We have put complains to the shop, and then they send across service engineer from Kutchina. He came and inspected it. He informed that the Burners have a combustible lining and have worn. We did not believe. Never in my lifetime I have heard such an excuse, that the burners wear out in a year. We went to the store and checked out the same model HoB again and asked the sales man about the burner and its combustible lining. The salesman and the store confirmed that, there is nothing as such which can be worn out. Therefore, we again lodged a complain at the store, and the store send the same person. Basically, saying that the burners go bad in a year, and needs to be repaired year on year. Moreover, it is out of warranty now. Now, recently after all that it started to "blurb" and "go off and on" while it is in use(video). If you see the video, you would observe that it is a life hazard for my family. I am now sure this was a strategy of not replacing the HOB within the warranty and delayed the entire procedure ( the problem started in Feb 2016, well within the warranty period). I would like that the Appliance be replaced with immediate effect or entire money be refunded with interest. Also, if the company cannot improve the quality, such substandard things should be removed from the market. This is a serious Health and Safety matter.
