[Resolved] Lenskart.com — Green fungus formation on frame of sunglasses when stored in cupboard unused | |||||
Greetings, With reference to Order number : 188184 dated 21/06/15, i had purchased 2 sun glasses Vincent chase as a gift for my brother. He never wore it even once as he is a business man and does not go on for an holiday soon, but after few months as he takes the sunglasses out from the cupboard, he finds green fungus on the frame of the glasses. I also tried speaking to Lenskart outlet at Mangalore, karnataka. But they are just repelling saying its our mistake and no warranty coverage for such mishaps. I am very disappointed as it had got so much sentiments attached. Request you to replace the same or allow me to buy something else of same or higher value. Was this information helpful? | |||||

It does not cover Corrosion and rust, Fungus is also from the same category. Please refer to the following conditions:-This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period. -This warranty is valid only when purchased through Lenskart.com -This warranty will be invalidated if damage results from accidents, mishandling, negligence, tampering and loss of components or accessories. -This warranty does not cover corrosion and rust, broken parts which may occur due to varying personal characteristics/usage by an individual -The eyewear will be replaced at the company’s option and the decision of the company on the nature of the defects and applicability of the warranty will be final. -The company will in no event be liable or obligated for the payments/refund of any special incidental or consequential damages We appreciate your time and patience and hope that you will have a better experience in future.
