[Resolved]  Lenskart — late delivery of product

I had ordered 2 sets of spectacles, one for my daughter and one for myself from company's outlet at vikas marg, delhi on 4th nov'17- order no [protected]. It was promised that it will be delivered within one week. The tracking on website also showed delivery date as 11th nov, till 11th nov.
But it wasn't delivered. Std answer on follow up was that it will be delivered within 24th to 48 hrs.
The company has policy of product return by calling on customer care no [protected]. On asking for cancellation, the executive told he can hold the the order execution, but not cancel it. It means i wont' neither get the product nor my money refund. Had no option but to wait for the product to arrive, which was delivered on 16th nov.
A company dealing with a medical product delay is an harrassment to the patient who would need it urgently. It also being a fancy product is required for special occasions.in this case i had to move outles on tour carrying with wrong power of lenses and my daughter had to attend a marriage with worn out old spectacles.
Company shall immediately update website and such clauses and committments of delivery time and cancellation policy.

I have ordered the specs from lenskart I received my 1st order on time but it was damaged so I placed the exchange everything was going good but on the day of delivery, they changed the delivery date and gives me a meaningless note apologising for the late delivery and now it will be delivered on 25 April until that I don't have any specs I am having a problem with reading I can't see properly, and they don't have a late delivery compensation policy and also proper contact with their delivery partner.
